  • Patent number: 12288456
Abstract: Various embodiments provide methods, apparatus, systems, computing entities, and/or the like, for identifying deviated behavior of an individual indicated by outlying activity counts and outlying activity timings classified by a prediction interval profile generated from historical behavior data. In an embodiment, an example method comprises accessing sensor data describing behavioral activities of an individual during historical time periods and generating a prediction interval profile for the behavioral activities comprising a predicted count interval within a prediction time period for at least some behavioral activities. The method further includes receiving sensor data for the prediction time period and extracting an observed activity count and an observed activity timing for each behavioral activity.

  • Publication number: 20240304313
Abstract: Systems and computer-implemented methods for improved provision of health alerts associated with patients are disclosed. A computer-implemented method includes receiving a first reading for a first biometric parameter for a first patient. The method includes applying a plurality of algorithms that determine a plurality of scores, respectively, for the first reading. Each of the plurality of algorithms uses different logic. The method includes determining, using a machine learning model, an aggregate score based on the determined plurality of first scores and on a learned weighting of the plurality of algorithms. The method includes comparing the aggregate score to a threshold. The method includes providing an alert to a user based on the comparing.

  • Publication number: 20240016655
Abstract: A method of protecting a fetus from injury during umbilical cord prolapse includes delivering a device which includes a hollow sheath and a compliant portion partially or completely surrounding the hollow sheath into a vaginal canal of a patient. The device is maneuvered within the vaginal canal and/or cervical opening such that a prolapsed umbilical cord enters the hollow sheath. The device is then positioned within a uterus of the patient, such that a first face of the compliant portion contacts a fetus and a second face of the compliant portion contacts a wall of the uterus.

  • Patent number: 11676368
Abstract: A computing system may train an autoencoder to generate a first set of codes from a first set of thermal video images of activities of a user in an environment. The activities may represent routine behaviors of the user in the environment. The computing system may use an unsupervised machine-learning algorithm to categorize the first set of codes into a set of clusters. The computing system may use the autoencoder to determine a code representative of a second set of thermal video images of an activity in the environment. Based on the code not being associated with any cluster in the set of clusters, the computing system may determine that the code is an anomalous code. The computing system may perform an alert action based on the anomalous code.

Abstract: An electrochemical deposition apparatus and method for the selective recovery of metal. The electrochemical deposition apparatus comprises a porous cathodic material, an anode, an inter-electrode region formed by the anode and cathode, and a gas release channel. The method may comprise passing a solution comprising a metal into a cavity, changing an oxidation state of a metal, and selectively depositing the metal onto a porous cathodic material. The electrochemical deposition apparatus may recover metal from metal feed in the form of metal hydroxides. The recovered metal may be from any source including, but not limited to, minerals, electronic waste, and black mass.

  • Patent number: 11484078
Abstract: A kit to facilitate identifying at least one glove particularly suitable to be worn by a particular individual includes a backdrop having at least two visually-discernible calibration marks disposed thereon, a camera, a memory having stored therein characterizing parameters for a variety of different gloves, and a control circuit that operably couples to the latter. The control circuit presents to a kit user via a display an image of the particular individual's hand as placed on the backdrop, and then presents a plurality of user-placeable markers by which the kit user marks particular locations of the particular individual's hand. The control circuit then processes the image of the particular individual's hand as marked by the kit user and as a function of the two visually-discernible calibration marks to identify at least one glove that is particularly suitable to be worn by the particular individual.
