Patent number: 11929183Abstract: Thorium-based fuel bundles according to one or more embodiments of the present invention are used in existing PHWR reactors (e.g., Indian 220 MWe PHWR, Indian 540 MWe PHWR, Indian 700 MWe PHWR, CANDU 300/600/900) in place of conventional uranium-based fuel bundles, with little or no modifications to the reactor. The fuel composition of such bundles is 60+ wt % thorium, with the balance of fuel provided by low-enriched uranium (LEU), which has been enriched to 13-19.95% 235U. According to various embodiments, the use of such thorium-based fuel bundles provides (1) 100% of the nominal power over the entire life cycle of the core, (2) high burnup, and (3) non-proliferative spent fuel bundles having a total isotopic uranium concentration of less than 12 wt %. Reprocessing of spent fuel bundles is also avoided.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2023Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: CLEAN CORE THORIUM ENERGY LLCInventors: Mehul Shah, Rida Milany, Koroush Shirvan

Patent number: 11882091Abstract: This document describes techniques, apparatuses, and systems for allocating internet protocol (IP) addresses for data sessions based on a location of a visited network. A home network can receive a request to establish a data session for a user equipment (UE) subscribed to the home network and located on a visited network operated by a visited network operator. The home network may identify a country in which the UE or the visited network is located and determine, based on a look-up table, a group of IP addresses associated with the country. The home network can allocate, from the group of IP addresses associated with the country, an IP address for the data session. In doing so, the IP address can be allocated based on the location of the visited network.Type: GrantFiled: November 10, 2022Date of Patent: January 23, 2024Assignee: T-Mobile USA, Inc.Inventor: Mehul Shah

Publication number: 20230394235Abstract: Systems and methods are described for automatically inspecting and validating unstructured documents having natural language text, such as journal article describing clinical research. For example, a journal's prose may be parsed to identify domain-specific entities and values. Domain-specific rules may be evaluated against generated structured data storing the entities and their corresponding values. rule may relate to a domain-specific requirement for the document. Findings may be generated for each evaluated rule, indicating whether the document meets a corresponding requirement. Feedback indicating whether a given finding is incorrect or is to be updated, which may indicate that the corresponding rule should be updated or removed, may be obtained. Based on the feedback, the set of domain-specific rules may be updated to obtain an updated set of rules including an update to or deletion of the rule. Some embodiments include automatically validating documents using voice enabled features.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2023Publication date: December 7, 2023Applicant: Otsuka Pharmaceutical Development & Commercialization, Inc.Inventors: Mohammed Arifur RAHMAN, Nityanand CHOUBEY, Imtiaz MOHIUDDIN, Paresh PATEL, Babu Sudhagar RAJ, Mehul SHAH

Patent number: 11797558Abstract: Data transformation workflows may be generated to transform data objects. A source data schema for a data object and a target data format or target data schema for a data object may be identified. A comparison of the source data schema and the target data format or schema may be made to determine what transformations can be performed to transform the data object into the target data format or schema. Code to execute the transformation operations may then be generated. The code may be stored for subsequent modification or execution.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2021Date of Patent: October 24, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Mehul A. Publication number: 20230328522Abstract: The disclosed system obtains an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) range of multiple UEs operating on a first network. The system obtains a subscription profile and authentication credentials of a UE among the multiple UEs. The system stores the IMSI range, a first subscription profile, and the authentication credentials in a second database of a second network. The second network provides connectivity to the UE when the UE is outside the limited geographical range of the first network. The system receives a request from the UE to connect to the second network when the UE is outside the limited geographical range. The system reduces network traffic by authenticating the UE using the authentication credentials stored in the second database and determining that the service is authorized to be provided to the UE based on the subscription profile stored in the second database without communicating with the first network. Upon authenticating the UE, the system provides the service to the UE.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 11, 2022Publication date: October 12, 2023Inventor: Mehul Shah

Patent number: 11714573Abstract: Techniques for storage optimization in a distributed object store are described. A storage optimization service of a provider network monitors changes to data objects in a distributed object store that are part of a data lake and are referenced by a table index. The storage optimization service determines whether particular storage optimizations involving the data objects would be beneficial, prioritizes the ordering of these optimizations with a focus on performing impactful optimizations first, while intelligently scheduling the optimizations to avoid overutilization of available resources.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2021Date of Patent: August 1, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Shashank Bhardwaj, Roman Gavrilov, Brian Scott Ross, Mehul A. Patent number: 11709809Abstract: Techniques for using tree data structures to maintain a transactionally consistent set with support for time-travel queries are described. When a transaction commits, a new version of the tree data structure is created using a copy-on-write based method such that the tree shares internal nodes with previous trees to save space. This approach may be used in the implementation of a transactional data catalog in which the files that make up a table are stored in a transactional set.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2021Date of Patent: July 25, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Bohou Li, Vijayan Prabhakaran, Mehul A. Patent number: 11704331Abstract: Dynamic generation of data catalogs may be implemented for accessing data sets in different storage locations. Data sets may be accessed in order to extract portions of data. Structure recognition techniques may be applied to the extracted data in order to determine structural information for the data sets. The structural information may then be stored as part of a data catalog for the data sets. Requests to access the data catalog from different clients may be received and the requested structural data supplied so that the clients may access different data sets utilizing the supplied structural data. Data catalogs may be updated as changes to data sets are made.Type: GrantFiled: July 10, 2020Date of Patent: July 18, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Andrew Edward Caldwell, Anurag Windlass Gupta, Mehul A.
