  • Publication number: 20140061123
Abstract: There is provided a safe, natural, environmentally sound means of controlling bacterial contamination, corrosion, and souring of oil and gas wells and reservoirs that result from bacteria-contaminated water in a well. In one aspect it is a process for remediation of souring of petroleum reservoirs and coalbeds by adding to the water used in flooding and “fracing” operations an effective amount of virulent (non-lysogenic) bacteriophages (phages) specific for problematic target bacteria. The invention also provides a means for combating loss of effectiveness of bacterial control by staging bacteriophage production and application to control dominant and sub-dominant target bacteria in a community of target bacteria.

  • Patent number: 8662775
Abstract: A cosmetic device includes a barrel, a first transmission unit, a dispensing unit, a cover and a second transmission unit. The first transmission unit is co-rotated with the collar by rotating the mounting member to move the piston downward. The cosmetic liquid in the first room in the barrel flows out from the outlet of the dispensing unit. The mounting member is rotatable in one direction relative to the barrel by the engagement of the ratchet teeth portion of the collar and the pawl of the barrel. The reception tube of the second transmission unit is rotated to co-rotate the collar to let the rod spirally move in the inner tube to protrude the lipstick.

  • Publication number: 20130309612
Abstract: A method and system to improve scanner throughput is provided. An image from a reticle is projected onto a substrate using a continuous linear scanning procedure in which an entire column of die or cells of die is scanned continuously, i.e. without stepping to a different location. Each scan includes translating a substrate with respect to a fixed beam. While the substrate is translated, the reticle is also translated. When a first die or cell of die is projected onto the substrate, the reticle translates along a direction opposite the scan direction and as the scan continues along the same direction, the reticle then translates in the opposite direction of the substrate thereby forming an inverted pattern on the next die or cell. The time associated with exposing the substrate is minimized as the stepping operation only occurs after a complete column of cells is scanned.

  • Patent number: 8547430
Abstract: In a method for marking discrepancies of a captured image of an object, an image is captured and compared to a standard image. A discrepant image showing any discrepancies of the captured image is generated, and is separated into an R grayscale image, a G grayscale image, and a B grayscale image. An R channel matrix group, a G channel matrix group, and a B channel matrix group are created. R channel negative matrixes, G channel negative matrixes, and B channel negative matrixes are determined from the RGB channel matrix groups. RGB pixel groups are calculated based on the R channel negative matrixes, the G channel negative matrixes, and the B channel negative matrixes. A target pixel group to be marked is determined by calculating an intersection of the RGB pixel groups. The discrepancies of the digital image are marked out according to the target pixel group.

  • Patent number: 8523474
Abstract: A liquid dispensing device with ratchet is provided with a container, a transmission assembly, a dispensing assembly, and a cap. A pulling of the cap away from the container bounces a carrier and unblocks an inlet opening. A further turning of the sleeve toward a predetermined direction co-rotates both the rotation ring and the externally threaded pipe to move the plunger toward bottom of the container along the externally threaded pipe in order to push the liquid to flow to the application head via the channel, the inlet opening, and the passage.
