Abstract: A method of reducing process interruptions in biofuel production systems mediated by bacterial reactive agents by reducing the amount of unwanted bacteria without reduction of wanted or useful bacteria. The method comprises applying a phage panel(s) containing phage virulent for unwanted bacteria that does not contain phage phages virulent wanted bacteria. The method includes, optionally, the selective production of solutions of phage for unwanted bacteria from which phages for wanted bacteria are screened out.

The remote server calculates a score after the guest OS is transferred into the host OS, and calculates the score for revising CPU utilization ratio range after the guest OS is transferred out of the host OS. The remote server revises the CPU utilization ratio range according to the score.

A pulling of the cap away from the container bounces a carrier and unblocks an inlet opening. A further turning of the sleeve toward a predetermined direction co-rotates both the rotation ring and the externally threaded pipe to move the plunger toward bottom of the container along the externally threaded pipe in order to push the liquid to flow to the application head via the channel, the inlet opening, and the passage.

Abstract: Tricyglycerols that may be converted to biofuel are recovered from oleaginous organisms in the natural and induced foam of wastewater treatment process plants. Growing oleaginous organisms in the form of comparatively dry foam simplifies harvest and is more efficient and efficacious than skimming the biomass off the top of the liquids that rely on less efficient centrifugation or filtration methods typically required to concentrate cells grown in liquids.

Abstract: The invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions and methods of treating inflammatory-related diseases associated with pro-inflammatory cytokine expression and/or reduced expression of anti-inflammatory cytokines. Abstract: In a method for validating speed of a fan of an electronic device, different speeds of the fan are set for validation. The method controls the fan to operate under each of the set speeds in turn, and controls a camera device to continuously capture images of the fan with a shutter speed of the camera device corresponding to the set speed. The images are transmitted to a comparison unit to be analyzed for sameness and clarity. The fan is determined to work abnormally if not all the images are sameness or if at least one image is unclear, and the fan is determined to work normally if all the images are sameness or clear. A validation report is generated to indicate whether the fan is normal or abnormal according to the determination.

Abstract: A method captures images of objects using an image capturing apparatus. The method obtains x-coordinate values, y-coordinate values, and z-coordinate values of the accelerations of a camera device sensed by a gravity sensor in a default time interval, calculates three-dimensional coordinate differences according to the obtained x-coordinate, y-coordinate, and z-coordinate values, and determines whether the three-dimensional coordinate differences are less than corresponding predefined thresholds. If at least one coordinate difference is not less than a corresponding predefined threshold, the method delays a period of time to obtain the x-coordinate, y-coordinate, and the z-coordinate values in a next default time interval. If all the three-dimensional coordinate differences are less than the corresponding predefined thresholds, the method controls the camera device to capture images of the subject object.

Abstract: A computing device and a method for controlling access to driver programs obtains a first system time at the time that an application uses a CTL_CODE to access a driver program. The first system time and the CTL_CODE is encrypted to generate an encrypted CTL_CODE which is then sent to the driver program. The encrypted CTL_CODE is decrypted to obtain the first system time and the CTL_CODE therein. A second system time at the time that the driver program receives the encrypted CTL_CODE is obtained and compared with the first system time. Access to the driver program is allowed if a difference between the first system time and the second system time falls within a predetermined range, and access to the driver program is forbidden if the difference is beyond the predetermined range.

The stability additive can be post added to the finished polymer product, added to the reaction vessel prior to inducing functionalization of the non-functionalized polymer, or added at any stage during the functionalization reaction. Methods for forming the composition and using the composition to produce a cellulosic fiber-based medium are also disclosed.

Abstract: This invention provides a process for control in oil and gas wells and related facilities of prokaryote caused souring, fouling and corrosion by reduction of problematic prokaryotes with naturally occurring lysing organisms, particularly sulfate-reducing prokaryotes by proliferating suitable virulent lysing organisms under conditions in which problematic prokaryotes thrive, including in a gas production wellbore. The process provides in situ proliferation of virulent lysing organism in a wellbore by providing both virulent lysing organisms and their host prokaryotes to selectively grow an effective control amount and concentrations of lysing organisms in a well formation.
