    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry decodes prediction information of a current block from a coded video bitstream. The prediction information is indicative of a subset of inter prediction modes associated with a merge flag being false. Then, the processing circuitry decodes at least an additional flag that is used for selecting a specific inter prediction mode from the subset of inter prediction modes. Further, the processing circuitry reconstructs samples of the current block according to the specific inter prediction mode.

A bilateral template is generated based on a weighted combination of the first reference block and the second reference block. A refined first motion vector and a refined second motion vector are determined based on the bilateral template, reference blocks in the first picture and reference blocks in the second picture respectively. An initial motion vector of a second block that is ceded after the first block is determined according to at least one of the first motion vector and the second motion vector for the first block.

According to the method, SO2 gas is reduced into liquid sulfur and sulfur powder, and sodium thiosulfate is coproduced.

    Abstract: A catalyst for inducing thermal desorption of organic matter-contaminated soil and a preparation method thereof, which uses a colloidal mixture of ferroferric oxide and ferric chloride as a catalytic active component of thermal desorption, and carbon tetrachloride as a solvent. Based on the mass of solvent, a mass percentage of catalytic active component is 0.1%-15%. Ammonia water is added dropwise to ferric chloride aqueous solution to react in oil bath to generate a ferroferric oxide colloidal solution, then ferric chloride and obtained ferroferric oxide colloidal solution are added to carbon tetrachloride, and mixed solution is continuously stirred in an oil bath to evaporate solvent water to prepare a catalyst with carbon tetrachloride as solvent. Catalyst is environmentally friendly and can induce thermal desorption of organic matters in soil. 100% desorption of chlorobenzene, o-xylene and benzo[A]anthracene can be achieved at 130° C., and energy consumption of thermal desorption is greatly reduced.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a catalyst for catalytic reduction of an industrial flue gas SO2 with CO to prepare sulfur, a method for preparing the same and use thereof. A CeO2 nanocarrier is prepared by using a hydrothermal method, La and Y are loaded as active components, pre-sulfurization is conducted with 6% of SO2 and 3% of CO, and finally, the catalyst is prepared. The catalyst has high reactivity and sulfur selectivity and strong stability. The by-product sulfur generated by the reaction is recovered with a solvent CS2, and the solvent CS2 is recovered by using a distillation process. The preparation method is low in cost, causes no secondary pollution and is high in sulfur recovery rate. The problem of low sulfur production in China at present is solved.

The processing circuitry performs an inter prediction for the plurality of second blocks in parallel. The processing circuitry determines a set of LIC parameters for each of the plurality of first blocks based on the selected neighboring region of the respective first block and reconstructs the plurality of first blocks based on the sets of LIC parameters.

The number of the bins of syntax elements being context coded does not exceed a maximum number of context coded bins set for the region. The maximum number of context coded bins is determined based on a comparison between a threshold and a number of quantized residues in the region. A bit stream including coded bits of the bins of syntax elements is generated based on the determined context models.

Addition of the regenerated asphalt mixture in the development process improves the regeneration effect of the old asphalt, and pavement performances of the formed regenerated asphalt mixture can fully reach that of a hot-mixed asphalt mixture produced entirely with new materials.
