  • Publication number: 20200345285
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining the concentration of one or more analytes from a sample such as blood or plasma are described. The systems described herein can be configured to withdraw a certain volume of sample from a source of bodily fluid, direct a first portion of the withdrawn sample to an analyte monitoring system and return a second portion of the sample to the patient. The analyte monitoring system can be connected to the source of bodily fluid via a connector that is configured to maintain uniform velocity across the connector and reduce the dead space volume.

  • Publication number: 20200255879
Abstract: An enzymatic method is provided for restructuring an affinity ligand bound heterogenous glycoform antibody sample to a substantially homogenous single desired glycoform antibody sample for therapeutic uses and kits for performing the methods. A method for enzymatically altering the Fc region of an affinity ligand bound antibody from a heterogenous glycoform to a substantially homogenous single glycoform comprises: contacting the affinity ligand bound heterogeneous glycoform antibody with a reaction buffer designed for a particular glycoform modification for a time sufficient and under conditions to modify the glycoform of the Fc region to a substantially homogeneous single form; optionally adding one or more nucleotide sugars and/or cofactors; and releasing the substantially homogeneous single glycoform antibody sample from said affinity ligand.

  • Patent number: 10726372
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a user interface that enables an administrator to monitor the status of one or more long-running processes executing on a system. According to one or more embodiments, information about the long-running processes is received, analyzed and converted into a single format. This information is then stored in a storage device in the single format. In response to a command request periodically received from a user interface, summary information about the one or more long-running processes is provided to, and displayed on, the user interface. Upon receipt of a user selection of at least a portion of the summary information, the user interface issues a second command request that is similar to the first command request, but includes additional parameters, to retrieve additional information about the selected summary information. Once the additional information is received, the additional information is presented on the user interface.

  • Patent number: 10671701
Abstract: Disclosed and described systems, methods, and apparatus provide diagnostic display and analysis of patient data. An example radiology desktop system includes a workload manager that organizes and displays one or more worklists. The example workload manager retrieves and displays, based on receiving a selection of an active worklist, one or more exams associated with the active worklist. The example system includes a diagnostic hub triggered based on selection of an exam. The example diagnostic hub generates an exam preview panel provides a summary of the selected exam. The example diagnostic hub facilitates comparison, based on selection of a comparison exam via the user interface from a patient library, between the selected exam and the comparison exam via the diagnostic hub. • Patent number: 10252190
Abstract: A screen decanter for decanting liquid from a reservoir, comprising at least one rack comprising screens and baffles forming the sides of a cavity; a frame attached to the screens and baffles and providing a barrier so that liquid cannot pass from outside into the cavity without passing through the screens; a patterned perforated drain pipe inside the cavity and leading to an opening through which liquids may drain out from the cavity. The pattern of the openings counteracts the hydrostatic head within the rack such that flow through the screens is uniform at all depths of immersion in the liquid reservoir. Preferably, the screens have a porosity of about 50 micrometers.

  • Patent number: 10190710
Abstract: A foldable drain pipe for draining effluent from a decanter in a settling tank in a water treatment system, comprising a plurality of pipe sections sealingly connected together end to end by pivotable elbow coupling pairs to form an articulated drain foldable in a vertical direction. The drain pipe is attachable at an upper end to the decanter and at a lower end to a tank outlet in the tank wall. The drain pipe can support its own weight and cannot come into contact undesirably with any other portion of the tank wall. The pipe unfolds upward as needed when the decanter and effluent level are high, and folds compactly between the decanter and the tank outlet when the decanter and effluent level are low. Multiple hobble apparatus options may be selected as defined herein to prevent rotational hyperextension of any of the elbow coupling pairs to assure that the pipe folds correctly.

  • Publication number: 20180344231
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining the concentration of one or more analytes from a sample such as blood or plasma are described. The systems described herein can be configured to withdraw a sample from a source of fluid, direct a first portion of the withdrawn sample to an analyte monitoring system and return a second portion of the sample. The analyte monitoring system can be connected to the fluid source via a connector that is configured to improve fluid flow and reduce blood clotting risk. These goals can be accomplished, for example, by employing coatings in or on a connector, positioning a resilient substance at or near the junction, by reducing dead space volume, by using resiliency to improve fit, by extending a portion of one connector to better mate with a portion of another connector, etc.

  • Patent number: 10101386
Abstract: Semiconductor process excursions may be monitored by fabricating functional circuitry on a plurality of semiconductor devices and then testing the functional circuitry of the plurality of semiconductor devices using a sequence of test patterns. A cumulative failure curve may be determined that has points of discontinuity based on results of testing with the sequence of test patterns. A point of discontinuity magnitude at a selected location in the cumulative failure curve may be compared to an expected discontinuity magnitude. Process excursion analysis may be indicated when a point of discontinuity magnitude exceeds an expected magnitude threshold.
