  • Publication number: 20180139918
Abstract: The subject invention provides compositions and methods of using the same for improving plants' defense by employing naturally-derived chemicals. In a specific embodiment, the composition is from Parthenium argentatum Gray, also known as the guayule plant. Preferred compositions can up-or downregulate growth genes responsible for the targeted plants' defense mechanisms in order to create physical and/or chemical barriers, and produce detouring exudates, antagonistic compounds, or fumigating compounds that prevent and treat damages from pests in agronomic or non-agronomic plants.

  • Publication number: 20180130754
Abstract: Systems and methods for visual identification of semiconductor dies are described. In some embodiments, a method may include: receiving a semiconductor wafer having a plurality of dies and printing a unique visual identification mark on each of the plurality of dies. In other embodiments, a method may include receiving an electronic device comprising a die and a package surrounding at least a portion of the die and reading, from the electronic device, a unique visual identification mark that encodes a Cartesian coordinate of the die relative to a reference point on a semiconductor wafer.

  • Publication number: 20180085686
Abstract: A screen decanter for decanting liquid from a reservoir, comprising at least one rack comprising screens and baffles forming the sides of a cavity; a frame attached to the screens and baffles and providing a barrier so that liquid cannot pass from outside into the cavity without passing through the screens; a patterned perforated drain pipe inside the cavity and leading to an opening through which liquids may drain out from the cavity. The pattern of the openings counteracts the hydrostatic head within the rack such that flow through the screens is uniform at all depths of immersion in the liquid reservoir. Preferably, the screens have a porosity of about 50 micrometers.

  • Publication number: 20170316356
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a user interface that enables an administrator to monitor the status of one or more long-running processes executing on a system. According to one or more embodiments, information about the long-running processes is received, analyzed and converted into a single format. This information is then stored in a storage device in the single format. In response to a command request periodically received from a user interface, summary information about the one or more long-running processes is provided to, and displayed on, the user interface. Upon receipt of a user selection of at least a portion of the summary information, the user interface issues a second command request that is similar to the first command request, but includes additional parameters, to retrieve additional information about the selected summary information. Once the additional information is received, the additional information is presented on the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20170051328
Abstract: An enzymatic method is provided for restructuring an affinity ligand bound heterogenous glycoform antibody sample to a substantially homogenous single desired glycoform antibody sample for therapeutic uses and kits for performing the methods. A method for enzymatically altering the Fc region of an affinity ligand bound antibody from a heterogenous glycoform to a substantially homogenous single glycoform comprises: contacting the affinity ligand bound heterogeneous glycoform antibody with a reaction buffer designed for a particular glycoform modification for a time sufficient and under conditions to modify the glycoform of the Fc region to a substantially homogeneous single form; optionally adding one or more nucleotide sugars and/or cofactors; and releasing the substantially homogeneous single glycoform antibody sample from said affinity ligand.
