  • Patent number: 9900271
Abstract: A single content region in a chat history display is used to display entries representative of a plurality of messages corresponding to all chat histories for all of chat threads currently engaged in by a given mobile terminal. Additionally, a buddy list display supports management of chat buddies, a detail view display allows otherwise truncated messages to be displayed, and a text message editor display supports the composition of text messages. Each chat user may designate public display identifiers for purposes of identification to other chat users. Additionally, each user may designate private display identifiers for each of his/her buddies, which private display identifiers may be used to replace the public display identifiers for that user's buddies when displayed on the user's mobile terminal. In this manner, the use of speech and text based group chatting and similar services in wireless communication environments is more readily enabled.

  • Publication number: 20170177969
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for classifying conditions of a data stream of object information. An image recognition receives an image and identifies a plurality of objects from the image. The image recognition application generates a data stream including information about the plurality of objects. The image recognition application generates a score based on the information about the plurality of products, determines a condition from the data stream based on the score, and generates a suggestion based on the condition. The image recognition application further provides the suggestion to a user.

  • Publication number: 20170178227
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for aligning a realogram and a planogram. An alignment module of an image recognition application receives a realogram, the realogram including information about product recognitions, and a planogram corresponding to the realogram. The alignment module also generates a planogram brand chunk in the planogram, the planogram brand chunk grouping a plurality of planogram product facings belonging to a same brand, and a realogram brand chunk in the realogram based on the planogram brand chunk. The alignment module additionally identifies a planogram product facing in the planogram brand chunk and a realogram product facing in the realogram brand chunk and aligns the planogram product facing with the realogram product facing.

  • Publication number: 20170178226
Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for comparing a realogram and a planogram to determine differences and generate suggestions, for example, a corrective action, and present the corrective action to a user. An application receives a realogram, the realogram including information about product recognitions, and a planogram corresponding to the realogram. The application aligns the realogram with the planogram using the information about product recognitions. The application retrieves a rule, detects an issue in the realogram based on applying the rule to the realogram aligned with the planogram, generates a corrective action corresponding to the issue in the realogram, and provides the corrective action for display as an overlay on the realogram.

  • Publication number: 20160290907
Abstract: A method of characterizing free volume of a rock sample includes test operations that measure pressure decay data from stepwise pressurization of the rock sample with a test gas. An initial free volume of the rock sample is calculated as a function of the pressure decay data. An initial maximum storage capacity of the rock sample is derived as a function of the initial free volume of the rock sample. A volume of test gas adsorbed as a liquid is calculated based on the maximum storage capacity of the rock sample. An updated free volume of the rock sample is calculated based on the initial free volume and the volume of the test gas adsorbed as a liquid. An updated maximum storage capacity of the rock sample is derived as a function of the updated free volume.

  • Patent number: 9332070
Abstract: The communications method for synchronization of service event related communications at an event management platform, may include receiving a notification transmitted from a service event source including event information related to at least one service offered by the service event source and for a mobile wireless device associated with a given service user, and including a synchronization value associated with a service instance. The method may further include storing the synchronization value, and receiving a subsequent notification transmitted from the service event source including a subsequent synchronization value associated with the service instance. The subsequent synchronization value is compared with the stored synchronization value and based thereon a request is generated and sent to the service event source for event information associated with notifications having synchronization values between the subsequent synchronization value with the stored synchronization value.
