  • Patent number: 10517307
Abstract: A tool, and a method using the tool, for skinning game animals. Specifically, the tool relates to a curved blade knife, sharpened on the curved, top edge, and possessing a spherical structure at the tip. The tool is used by forming a cut through the soft skin of a game animal, inserting the spherical structure through the cut, and pushing or pulling the blade such that the sharpened curved, top edge cuts through the skin and connective tissue. This tool and method takes advantage of the fact that because the spherical structure at the tip of the blade is retained inside the skin and connective tissue of the game animal, the blade is automatically properly positioned to cut the skin of the game animal.

  • Patent number: 10491132
Abstract: A control circuit for converting an unbalanced grid voltage into a DC voltage is provided. The control circuit includes a controller having a voltage detection module, a first transformation module, a level shift module, and a second transformation module. The voltage detection module provides voltage component values indicating the voltage in each phase of a three-phase AC power supply. The first transformation module converts the voltage component values from a stationary reference frame into reference voltage signals in a rotating reference frame using a Clarke-Park transform. The level shift module compensates the reference voltage signals to simulate a balanced three-phase AC voltage. The second transformation module converts the compensated reference voltage signals from the rotating reference frame to the stationary reference frame using an inverse Clarke-Park transform.

  • Patent number: 10423438
Abstract: In a multi-tenant environment, separate virtual machines can be used for configuring and operating different subsets of programmable integrated circuits, such as a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). The programmable integrated circuits can communicate directly with each other within a subset, but cannot communicate between subsets. Generally, all of the subsets of programmable ICs are within a same host server computer within the multi-tenant environment, and are sandboxed or otherwise isolated from each other so that multiple customers can share the resources of the host server computer without knowledge or interference with other customers.

The support device can include a base frame, a support arm, a center bolster and a back support pivotally joined with the base frame and/or the center bolster so that the center bolster is supported in an upright position by the base frame. The base frame can be configured to secure to a support structure thereby preventing the device from sliding across a surface of a support bed on which a patient is disposed. Lateral bolsters can be joined with the center bolster and/or base frame to laterally stabilize the patient. The device can be void of a seat bottom disposed under the patient. The related method can include steps of using the device.

  • Publication number: 20190258979
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing inventory movements are disclosed. Transfer orders are issued to move inventory from location to location in response to real-time demand events. One method includes receiving an inventory request in response to demand signals. The inventory request is analyzed to determine if inventory needs to be moved within the supply chain to satisfy the request. Origin locations are identified that have available stock of the requested items. Transfer orders are issued for each movement on an individual item basis regardless of the type of event that prompted the transfer. The transfer management system responds in real-time to inventory demands from both online and in-store sales.
