  • Publication number: 20180089119
Abstract: The following description is directed to a configurable logic platform. In one example, a configurable logic platform includes host logic and a plurality of reconfigurable logic regions. Each reconfigurable region can include hardware that is configurable to implement an application logic design. The host logic can be used for separately encapsulating each of the reconfigurable logic regions. The host logic can include a plurality of data path functions where each data path function can include a layer for formatting data transfers between a host interface and the application logic of a corresponding reconfigurable logic region. The host interface can be configured to apportion bandwidth of the data transfers generated by the application logic of the respective reconfigurable logic regions.

  • Publication number: 20180042307
Abstract: A wickless cartomizer includes an outer shell surrounding an inner shell in a spaced configuration to form chamber for holding vaporizable material between the outer and inner shell. The inner shell includes a channel having an opening at the bottom portion of the outer wall to allow the vaporizable material in the chamber to flow into the channel such that the vaporizable material within the channel is substantially level with the vaporizable material in the chamber. The inner wall of the channel includes a heater to heat the vaporizable material stored within the channel along the length of the inner wall to provide a more even temperature distribution through the vaporizable material. As the vaporizable material heats and becomes vaporized, the vapor rises and passes through a vapor exit opening in a top portion of the inner wall of the channel.

  • Patent number: 9886405
Abstract: Server computers may include one or more input/output (I/O) adapter devices for communicating with a network and/or direct-attached device. The I/O adapter device may implement processes to manage write requests in a general and flexible manner. The I/O adapter device may also implement processes to manage write requests in a fast an efficient—that is, low latency—manner. Low latency write requests processes may include determining that a write packet for a write request can be processed without additional assistance from a processor, once a processor has initiated a memory access request to fetch write data and also generated protocol information for transmitting the write packet. The I/O adapter device may then process and transmit the write packet through an offload pipeline, without interrupting a processor.

  • Patent number: 9864538
Abstract: Server computers often include one or more input/output (I/O) devices for communicating with a network or directly attached storage device. Data transferred between these devices may include blocks of data with a common often repeated and identifiable data pattern. Transfer and storage of data of this nature may be optimized by transferring primarily blocks of data that are not of the pre-determined data pattern. • Patent number: 9809170
Abstract: An apparatus for protecting a side mirror of a vehicle, such as a fork lift, includes a side mirror assembly that has a support frame and a side mirror mounted to the support frame. The support frame is hingedly mounted to the vehicle and has an outer end disposed outwardly from the vehicle. A contact wheel is mounted to the side mirror assembly so that the wheel can rotate in a generally horizontal plane. The wheel is mounted below the mirror and has a peripheral contact surface that extends outward, rearward and forward beyond the side mirror and beyond the support frame. When the surface of an obstacle contacts the wheel peripheral surface, the wheel will rotate and ride along the obstacle, allowing the arm to properly pivot forward or rearward without damaging the side mirror.
