  • Publication number: 20190133826
Abstract: An implanted intraocular shunt can be manually manipulated, without surgical intervention, to modify the flow resistance of the shunt, thereby providing relief from high intraocular pressure while avoiding hypotony. For example, through application of pressure along a surface of the eye, a portion of the shunt can be displaced or separated relative to the shunt, thereby decreasing a flow resistance of the shunt.

  • Patent number: 10248912
Abstract: Systems and methods of this disclosure are directed to displaying travel itineraries. In some implementations, a system receives a search request for a travel itinerary, and identifies a candidate travel itinerary that includes a departure time, an arrival time, a duration, and a price. The system generates a first coordinate on a first axis of a multidimensional graph corresponding to the departure time, and a second coordinate on a second axis corresponding to the arrival time. The system generates a location on the multidimensional graph for the first coordinate and the second coordinate that indicates the duration of the candidate travel itinerary. The system creates a data structure for the candidate travel itinerary and allocates an icon to the data structure. The system sets an attribute of the icon based on the price of the candidate travel itinerary, and provides the icon for display with the multidimensional graph.

  • Patent number: 10228351
Abstract: An acoustic measurement system for an industrial process asset includes a process measurement device providing a value representative of an acoustic signal near the industrial process asset based in part on a signal from an acoustic sensor positioned near the industrial process asset. A second acoustic sensor provides an acoustic value and a noise reduction component uses the acoustic value from the second acoustic sensor to affect the value provided by the process measurement device so that the value provided by the process measurement device is more representative of an acoustic signal generated by the industrial process asset.

Abstract: A manufacturing computer device for dynamically adapting additive manufacturing of a part is provided. The manufacturing computer device includes at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device. The at least one memory device stores a build file for building the part including a plurality of geometries that each include one or more values of a first build parameter. The processor is programmed to receive sensor information of a build of the part by a machine, compare the sensor information for each geometry of the plurality of geometries to the corresponding one or more values of the first build parameter, determine one or more values for a second build parameter for each of the geometries based on the one or more differences, and generate an updated build file for the part including the one or more values for the second build parameter.

  • Publication number: 20180245499
Abstract: An aftertreatment system comprises a particulate filter configured to filter PM possessing a predetermined, least effective size range included in an exhaust gas flowing through the aftertreatment system. A PM sensor assembly is positioned downstream of the particulate filter and includes a housing having an inlet, an outlet, a sidewall and defines an internal volume. A PM sensor is positioned within the internal volume. The housing is configured to redirect a flow of exhaust gas entering the PM sensor assembly around the PM sensor so that small particles included in the exhaust gas flow having a first size within or smaller than the predetermined size range are directed around the particulate matter sensor. Large particles having a second size larger than the predetermined size range impact the PM sensor. A controller is communicatively coupled to the PM sensor.

  • Patent number: 10031171
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system and method for providing an estimated design specification as a function of a number of spatially separated far-field measurements and a predetermined design specification. The predetermined design specification corresponds to an antenna being in a properly configured and a properly excited state. The system maps the spatially separated far-field measurements into an estimated far-field antenna pattern of the antenna based on the estimated design specification. The system provides difference data based on a comparison of the predetermined design specification and the estimated design specification and can adjust the electrical excitation signals of the antenna in accordance with the difference data or the estimated far-field antenna pattern.
