  • Patent number: 11554432
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for electrochemically processing a material, which contains a hard phase and a binder phase. The method comprises preparing an aqueous, alkaline, complexing-agent-containing electrolyte and bringing the material to be processed into contact at least in part with the electrolyte and with a current source. In order to electrochemically oxidize the material, a pulsed electrical current is delivered to the material by means of the current source, the pulse sequence of the delivered electrical current being adjusted to the amount of the binder phase in the material to be processed. By means of the method and by means of the device, it is also possible to process materials having a high content of binder phase in such a way that matter can be removed from the material evenly (homogeneously), i.e. both from the hard phase and from the binder phase of the material.

  • Publication number: 20220400965
Abstract: A hemodynamic monitoring system monitors arterial blood pressure of a patient and provides a warning to medical personnel of a predicted future hypotension event of the patient. Waveform analysis is performed on sensed hemodynamic data representative of an arterial pressure waveform of the patient to determine a plurality of hypotension profiling parameters predictive of a future hypotension event for the patient. A set of transformed hypotension profiling parameters is generated based on the hypotension profiling parameters and mean and standard deviation values of the hypotension profiling parameters at a standard mean arterial pressure (MAP) threshold for hypotension and an adjusted MAP threshold for hypotension. A risk score representing a probability of a future hypotension event for the patient is determined based on the set of transformed hypotension profiling parameters. A sensory alarm is invoked to produce a sensory signal in response to the risk score satisfying a predetermined risk criterion.

  • Publication number: 20220395236
Abstract: A hemodynamic monitoring system monitors arterial blood pressure of a patient and provides a warning to medical personnel of a predicted future hypotension event of the patient. Sensed hemodynamic data representative of an arterial pressure waveform of the patient are received by a hemodynamic monitor. The received hemodynamic data is offset, based on a difference between a standard mean arterial pressure (MAP) threshold for hypotension and an adjusted MAP threshold for hypotension, to produce adjusted hemodynamic data. Waveform analysis of the adjusted hemodynamic data is performed, and a risk score representing a probability of a future hypotension event for the patient is determined based on the waveform analysis. A sensory alarm is invoked to produce a sensory signal in response to the risk score satisfying a predetermined risk criterion.

  • Patent number: 11523747
Abstract: A method for operating a medical diagnostic system that is configured to use a system component of the diagnostic system to generate examination data of a person under examination during an examination procedure is provided. The examination procedure with control of the system component is controlled by a piece of control software, and a component driver exchanges control commands of the control software with the system component in order to control the system component. The method includes providing an event driver that communicates with the control software via an interface of the control software. Via the event driver, a first event is detected in the examination procedure and reported to the event driver. When the first event is detected in the examination procedure, the use of the system component in the examination procedure is modified to a first type defined by the event driver.
