  • Publication number: 20070045312
Abstract: Devices and a method for releasing gas in a container after closing and sealing to pressurize and/or prevent or counteract buckling thereof, and or provide structural rigidity and strength thereto and or release components. The method introduces a reactive agent into the container after filling and before sealing. The reactive agent is controlled to react to provide a gas and optionally components, which a) provides a positive pressure to prevent or counteract buckling and provide structural rigidity to the container, and b) and or changes the state or characteristics of the headspace and or contents of the closed container. The devices include a closure, a cap and a container. The reactive agent is brought to chemical reaction by moistening, heating, catalyst and the like. The closure includes the reactive agent and is disposed in the container. The external trigger is a device that emits energy that provides heat to the reactive agent to stimulate the chemical reaction.

  • Publication number: 20070028909
Abstract: A paintball marker has a firing mechanism with at least a bolt, spool poppet valve, and vent. The bolt is slidable within a firing chamber and has a channel therethrough, The spool poppet valve has a large cross section portion and a smaller cross section portion, the larger cross section portion providing a seal against the bolt's channel. The smaller cross sectional portion has an O-ring that separates a channel, in which the spool poppet valve is slidably movable, into a front portion and a rear portion. Compressed gas enters the spool poppet valve's channel, in both the spool poppet valve's separated front and rear portions, and pushes the spool poppet valve towards the bolt, which in turn moves with the spool poppet valve.

  • Publication number: 20060265487
Abstract: A communications distribution system for a network, e.g. Internet E-Mail transmitted between interactive display terminals. The invention offers a solution to the above problems by providing a display interface at a receiving terminal including the conventional mechanisms of access of an E-Mail distribution server by an E-Mail client; but in addition provides an indicator mechanism enabling a user of the E-Mail distribution system to receive an indication of its status of the system. The invention further provides, in some implementations, a mechanism to initiate various tests to confirm access and availability. This invention is applicable to enable an E-Mail user to instantly and visually/aurally determine whether any connected E-Mail distribution system is presently available. The invention may also be extended to other communications networks including standard telephone (POTS, PSTN), cellular, and wireless, broadband communications systems.

  • Publication number: 20060257184
Abstract: The present invention includes apparatus and method for image transfer onto one of a plurality of a pad medium pages while the pages are aggregated together. A preferred embodiment for a printer includes a housing; a print engine, within the housing, for transferring an image to a transfer medium when the transfer medium is located at a print position; and a transfer medium registration system, coupled to the print engine, for positioning a pad including a plurality of transfer media releasably secured to one another, wherein the print registration system locates one of the transfer media at the print position. The method including positioning a pad at a print position of a print transfer engine, the pad including a plurality of transfer media releasably secured to one another; and transferring an image to one of the transfer media positioned at the print position.
