  • Publication number: 20140058970
Abstract: A method is described that provides a notification to the sender or mailer of a mailpiece when the addressee of the mailpiece has changed address. One step in the method includes creation of an updated delivery code that may comprise both the forwarding address of the addressee, the sender's address information, and corresponding barcodes. The postal delivery system sends the mailed item to the forwarding address and provides the sender with the updated information for the addressee. The notification can occur by electronic message systems or delivery of a physical notification.

  • Patent number: 7019358
Abstract: A semiconductor device includes a substrate layer having a first dopant density, an epitaxial layer comprising a second dopant density formed on the substrate layer and a semiconductor switch formed on the epitaxial layer, wherein the semiconductor switch comprises an active region of the semiconductor device. A first thickness of the epitaxial layer in the active region is less than a second thickness of the epitaxial layer in a termination region formed peripherally to the active region. The increased thickness of the epitaxial layer in the termination region enables the semiconductor device to have a relatively higher breakdown voltage without increasing the on-resistance of the semiconductor switch.

  • Patent number: 5918611
Abstract: An animal umbrella that is adaptable to a conventional animal harness and collar. The animal umbrella includes a saddle, saddle attaching apparatus, a vertical shank, vertical shank attaching apparatus, and a foldable canopy. The saddle is detachably mounted to the conventional animal harness and is pivotally mounted to the conventional animal collar. The saddle has a lower surface. The saddle attaching apparatus detachably mounts the saddle to the conventional animal harness. The vertical shank has a proximal end with a cross section and a distal end with a cross section. The vertical shank is detachably mounted to the saddle at the proximal end of the vertical shank. The vertical shank attaching apparatus detachably mounts the vertical shank to the saddle. And, the foldable canopy is mounted to the distal end of the vertical shank.

  • Patent number: 5666280
Abstract: A half-bridge driver circuit including a lower drive module and a floating upper drive module for driving respective external upper and lower power transistors of a high voltage half bridge is contained in an integrated circuit chip which includes an on-chip bootstrap diode emulator which is turned on in response to a control signal applied to its gate in order to pass current from a power supply to charge an external bootstrap capacitor that powers the upper drive module. The upper drive module is accommodated in an insulated well and the diode emulator includes as its main current carrying element, a JFET transistor formed along the periphery of the well. The JFET transistor is driven into a conducting state at the same time the lower power transistor is driven into a conducting state.
