  • Publication number: 20240425065
Abstract: A vehicle management system includes a torque control generates torque shaping logic for managing torque output of a drive unit and limiting displacement between a drive unit of a vehicle and a wheel coupled to the drive unit. A measuring device monitors a transferred displacement between the drive unit and the wheel coupled to the drive unit when the drive unit is operating to measure a lash angle corresponding to the transferred displacement between the drive unit and the wheel. The measuring device can provide data (e.g., displacement data), indicating the lash angle information, to the vehicle management system. Based on the lash angle information, the torque output generates the torque shaping logic used to manage the torque output of the drive unit.

  • Patent number: 12154338
Abstract: System, apparatus and method of image processing to detect a substance spill on a solid surface such as a floor is disclosed. First data representing a first image, captured by an image sensor, of a region including a solid surface, is received. A trained semantic segmentation neural network is applied to the first image data to determine, for each pixel of the first image, a spill classification value associated with the pixel, the determined spill classification value for a given pixel indicating the extent to which the trained semantic segmentation neural network estimates, based on its training, that the given pixel illustrates a substance spill. The presence of a substance spill on the solid surface is detected based on the determined spill classification values of the pixels of the first image.

  • Publication number: 20240388676
Abstract: A method for operating a space monitoring apparatus networked with a first camera positioned to capture position data and image data suitable for individuation of a subject and a second camera positioned to capture position data of a subject, the cameras sharing a portion of a field of view. The method includes extracting individuating data and position data of a subject from an image captured by the first camera, extracting second position data of a subject from an image captured by the second camera and matching the first and second position data. Responsive to a match indicating that the first and second subject are an identical entity, creating a tracking reference tagged with the individuating data, storing the tagged reference in a data store for reuse, and signalling the reference to a tracking logic component to coordinate continuity of tracking of the identical entity with the cameras.
