  • Publication number: 20260094425
Abstract: Systems and methods employing machine learning processes to detect objects within images are provided. In some examples, a first trained machine learning model, such as a trained neural network, identifies regions in image data that contain one or more features of interest. During this classification process, the first trained machine learning model divides the input data into smaller sized regions, and processes the regions to identify whether one or more features of one or more classes are present in each region. The first trained machine learning model generates output data characterizing the regions with features. A second trained machine learning model, such as an object detector or pixel segmentation network, receives the output data from the first trained machine learning model. The second trained machine learning model processes the image data to detect features only within the regions identified by the received output data.

  • Patent number: 8917008
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric machine, in particular a commutator machine (10), the carbon brushes (14) of which cooperate with a commutator (13) to supply the rotor with current, the carbon brushes (14) being continuously provided or provided in layer sections with different additives such as scouring material, lubricants or similar. To achieve a longer service life for the carbon brushes (14), a maximum of half, preferably less than half of all the carbon brushes (14) of the machine have a significant fraction of an additive, said fraction differing from that of the other carbon brushes (14).

  • Patent number: 8395297
Abstract: An electric machine has at least two pairs of carbon brushes made up of one plus and one minus carbon brush, which interact with a commutator in order to supply current to the rotor, the carbon brushes being mounted with their brush holder on a brush plate via a mount, and the mounts on the brush plate lying across from each other at 180°.
