  • Patent number: 11808166
Abstract: Embodiments of an additively fabricated turbine blade having an integral tuned mass absorber are disclosed herein. The tuned mass absorber has an elliptical cross-section that results in the suppression of blade vibrations in at least two orthogonal modes of vibration. The tuned mass absorber is formed simultaneously during the additive fabrication of the blade. In an embodiment, the tuned mass absorber extends spanwise. In another embodiment, the tuned mass absorber extends chordwise. The dynamic responses of these spanwise and chordwise tuned mass absorbers are analytically predictable such that the dynamic responses may be incorporated into the design process of the turbine blade.

  • Patent number: 11783606
Abstract: A delivery system may include a pallet wrapper system having a turntable, a camera directed toward an area above the turntable, and a stretch wrap dispenser adjacent the turntable. A computer receives images from the camera of multiple sides of a pallet loaded with packages on the turntable. The computer stitches images from different sides of the stack of packages that correspond to the same package. At least one machine learning model may be used to infer SKUs of each package. Optical character recognition may be performed in parallel on the images. The determination of the SKU of each package may be based upon the inferred SKUs and on the OCR.

  • Publication number: 20230242462
Abstract: A fertilizer composition and method to produced based on milk which comes from ruminant animals like cows and goats and adding a coal dust component. The previous or past milk-based fertilizers have had poor efficacy obtained due to the high fat content of these milk sources due to using too much milk, or rather too much fat in the milk, since the bacteria in the composition will spoil and result in a foul odor, poor growth, and poor crop yield. This fertilizer composition contains a nutrient ingredient, which is the de-fatted milk, as a liquid or dry product, and are utilized between 10 percent weight and 95 percent weight plus uses the coal dust and soluble coal dust as a less expensive stabilizer and chelator as well as other minerals for Nitrogen-Phosphorus-Potassium utilization.

  • Patent number: 11690498
Abstract: Endoscopic light refraction imaging techniques are described for configuring a viewing trocar and/or angled endoscope with a light refracting element, such as glass and/or plastic prism for instance. The light refracting element can be utilized in and/or with the viewing trocar to refract (i.e., bend) light passing into the trocar through the trocar's window. As a result, the angled endoscope's field of view can be substantially aligned with the field of view of the trocar's window, thus allowing the angled endoscope and viewing trocar to be used together to create ports in a patient, including initial ports of endoscopic surgical procedures.

  • Patent number: 11668882
Abstract: A cleaning nozzle includes an outer housing having a central axis and an inner surface that defines an outer housing interior. An inner housing resides within the outer housing interior along the central axis and has an inner surface that defines an inner flow channel. The inner flow channel supports flow of the cleaning fluid and has a converging taper and a flow disrupter element. The nozzle assembly may include an adapter that receives a front end of the nozzle and that also holds a ferrule that supports an optical fiber having an end face. The nozzle assembly allows the nozzle to direct a jet stream of cleaning fluid to the ferrule end face and the fiber end face. The flow disrupter causes the jet stream to have a time-varying direction that enhances the cleaning of the ferrule end face and the optical fiber end face.

  • Publication number: 20230147974
Abstract: A pick assist system may include a pallet destacker storing a front column of pallets and a back column of pallets. At least one rfid reader is configured to read an rfid tag on a pallet in or below at least one of the front column of pallets or the back column of pallets. The pick assist system may include a pallet sled including a display indicating a product to be retrieved. The pallet sled may determine that the product has been placed in a center of a pallet on the pallet sled. A method for verifying a pallet may include identifying skus on exterior products in a layer in a stack of products. Based upon that determination, the skus of the interior products may also be determined. For example, it may be determined that the interior products were part of a layer pick.
