  • Patent number: 11920978
Abstract: A method of detecting pulsed radiation comprising the steps of irradiating at least a portion of an array of sensor elements with pulsed radiation (71); addressing the array using a rolling shutter operation (72); reading the array to obtain a radiation image (73); and then applying a pulse detection operation (74) to the radiation image. The rolling shutter operation (72) is configured to address each element line of the array for a predetermined integration period. The predetermined integration period being calculated using an integration period function, itself a function of an anticipated pulse repetition interval of the pulsed radiation. The method and apparatus for the same enable low cost camera arrays to be used for pulse detection and for wider application in the field of low cost communications.

  • Publication number: 20230376926
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for secure online transaction. The method includes receiving a plurality of transaction data associated with an authenticated registered user from a point of sale (POS) terminal. The plurality of transaction data is processed to identify sensitive information. The sensitive information is substituted with cryptographically generated tokens at a reader head of the POS terminal, wherein the tokens are randomly generated numbers, randomly generated character sequences, pseudorandom numbers, or a combination thereof. The cryptographically generated tokens are encrypted, via an encryption protocol, to generate encrypted tokens at the reader head of the POS terminal. The encrypted tokens are transmitted to one or more processing servers for data aggregation and payment settlement.

  • Publication number: 20230196308
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for data aggregation and efficient routing of the aggregated data for the settlement of payments. The method includes receiving, in real-time, transactions associated with an account of a registered user. The outstanding amount associated with transactions is aggregated based on a first preset time period. The payments for the aggregated outstanding amount are transmitted from a settlement account to an account of a merchant based on the first preset time period and/or a pre-determined total outstanding amount threshold. The transmitted payments are aggregated based on a second preset time period. The amount equivalent to the aggregated transmitted payments is transmitted from the account associated with the registered user to the settlement account based on the second preset time period. A user interface is then generated in devices of the registered user and merchant.

  • Publication number: 20230070215
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for routing and settling transactions between bank accounts associated with registered users and merchants. The method includes determining transactions for payment accounts associated with payment vehicles of registered users. The outstanding amount associated with transactions of each payment account is aggregated based on a first preset time period. The payments for the aggregated outstanding amount are transmitted to recipient accounts of merchants based on the first preset time period and/or a pre-determined total outstanding amount threshold. The transmitted payments are aggregated based on a second preset time period, the first preset time period being a subset of the second preset time period. The amount of the aggregated transmitted payments is deducted from the payment account based on the second preset time period.

  • Patent number: 9974878
Abstract: The scent-dispensing animal collar accessory is adapted for use with a collar that is worn by an animal. The scent-dispensing animal collar accessory is a container that is attached to the collar. The container is used to contain a fragrance device. The fragrance device is a chemical device that releases one or more aroma compounds. Air flow through the container will disperse the one or more aroma compounds into the atmosphere in a manner that deemphasizes existing aromas that may be associated with the animal. The scent-dispensing animal collar comprises a container, an attachment device, and a fragrance device.
