Abstract: A tool is provided that includes unitary plate that includes a blade portion and a tang portion. The blade portion can include an edge. The tang portion can include a positioning hole, a first hole, a slot, a second hole, a rivet hole, and one or more teeth (also referred to as one or more barbs) on a side of the tang portion. The tool can further include a hilt member which includes a through passage, a tab, and a notch. The tool includes an overlay on a body to create a handle for gripping the tool. The tool further includes a hammerhead cap on an end of the body, the hammerhead cap is coupled to the handle with a rivet through the rivet hole.

Abstract: A nesting paint bucket and tray system includes a paint bucket and a paint tray. The paint bucket has a spout extending outwardly from the perimeter of the paint bucket. The paint tray has a spout extending outwardly from the perimeter of the paint tray. The paint tray includes feet that extend along the length of the paint tray, with the feet positioned adjacent the side walls of the paint bucket. The paint bucket includes first and second roll off surfaces while the paint tray includes one paint roll off surface.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a modular toolbox that is designed and organized for the storage and transport of painting tools. The modular toolbox has modules that are separably stacked and is designed to include storage for painting tools such as, for example, brushes, roller frames, roller covers, putty knives, lights, and an extension pole with compartments allowing for the storage and transport of personal items. In particular embodiments, the modular toolbox includes specific storage capabilities for wet tools so that they can be stored and transported to a different location for cleaning.

Abstract: Provided is a container including a container body, a bail removably attached to the container body, a lid removably attached to a top of the container body, and a flexible band attached to the container body. The flexible band is movable between a first position spaced a first distance from the rear, a second position spaced a second distance from the rear less than the first distance to allow the container body and the bail to be grasped at the rear without interference by the flexible band, and a third position spaced a third distance from the rear greater than the first distance to provide space for a user's hand between the rear of the container body and the flexible band.

Abstract: Provided is a paint roller that may include a wire frame and a magnetic shield selectively attachable to the paint roller. The wire frame may comprise a configuration including multiple bends. In an embodiment, the wire frame may include a straight portion, a first bend, a second bend that directs the frame at a 180° angle relative to the straight portion, and a third bend that directs the wire frame at an angle less than the first and second bends. The bends and legs of the wire frame may be positioned in the same plane. The paint roller may further comprise a handle, a roller cage, and a roller cover. The magnetic shield may be selectively attachable to an end of the paint roller. The shield may include a generally circular shaped face that defines a circumference having a slightly smaller circumference than the circumference of the paint roller cover.
