  • Publication number: 20220414528
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed in which a computing device repeatedly trains, using a stream of user data received at the computing device, a baseline model to generate a device-trained model, wherein the baseline model is trained at the computing device without providing user data included in the stream to a server computer system. In some embodiments, the computing device inputs, to the device-trained model, a set of characteristics associated with a user request received from a user of the computing device, wherein the device-trained model outputs a score for the user request. In some embodiments, the computing device transmits, to the server computer system, the score for the user request, wherein the transmitting includes requesting a decision for the user request. In some embodiments, the computing device performs an action associated with the user request in response to receiving a decision for the user request from the server computer system.

  • Patent number: 11514810
Abstract: A method of providing visual feedback to a driver based on data collected during vehicle operation. A processor at the vehicle analyzes vehicle data and determines when predetermined threshold values have been reached for particular parameters. Whenever such a threshold is reached, an audible indication is provided to the driver, indicating that the baseline has been exceeded. Certain parameters have at least two threshold values. When a first threshold value is reached, an alert is presented to the driver, but no data is recorded or reported. When a second threshold value is reached, another alert is presented to the driver, and data is recorded for reporting to a driver manager or supervisor. This approach provides a driver warning, that if they correct the triggering behavior, their supervisor is never notified of that behavior. However, if the behavior escalates, and the second threshold is breached, the behavior is recorded.

  • Publication number: 20220345850
Abstract: Example embodiments are directed to systems and methods for providing high dimension copresence estimation. A network system receives, from each of a plurality of client devices, a transmission of a scan of signals from signal broadcasting devices. A vector is created from each scan, whereby the vector comprises a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) to each unique signal broadcasting device. Based on the vector created from each scan, the network system determines a probability that the client devices are co-present. The probability is determined based on applying the vectors to a copresence estimation function that uses an angular similarity, a magnitude similarity, and a number of signal broadcasting devices. Based on the probability, the network system triggers a component to perform a corresponding operation.

  • Patent number: 11480609
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for Integrated Circuit (IC) identification, authentication, and tamper detection. Die identification, authentication, and tamper detection techniques are described that employ capacitive sensing of on-chip interconnect. The signal and power routing in ICs have nominal capacitance values that are characteristic of their foundry, and the variance of these values, due to process tolerances, is unique to each device. Measuring these capacitances provides not only support for determining the authenticity of the device and fabrication site, but also provides distinct identification of each part. By integrating Capacitance-to-Digital Converters (CDCs) with low power and area overhead, capacitance values from intrinsic functional nets can be reported, and the need for separate additive test circuitry can be avoided.

  • Patent number: 11479414
Abstract: Processes are provided for dynamically sorting and storing items in a warehouse without the need for presorting items and without delaying or negatively impacting the efficiency of operators in the warehouse. Items are individually scanned and placed in totes of a tote-array provided on a mobile robot. An optimized route is calculated based on the items in the tote-array, and the robot navigates to a first location on the route. When the item has been put away, a replacement item is placed in the just-emptied tote of the tote-array, and an updated route is calculated. A robot capable of navigating to predefined locations for storing items is a warehouse is provided.

  • Patent number: 11475434
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for local digital token transfer during device communication limitations. A first computing device of a first user may include applications and data necessary to generate and/or transmit a data token to a second device to provide particular data to the second device, including a token used for electronic transaction processing. The first device may be unable to communicate with the second device in particular instances, for example, if the first device becomes non-operational due to battery power, location specific requirements, or other operation issue. Thus, the first device may store the token locally or to a nearby associated device, such as a keyfob device or other transceiver. The token may then be available to a third device when the first device is limited from communications, which may be used to communicate the token to the second device.

  • Patent number: 11463804
Abstract: A loudspeaker system with viscoelastic material affixed between two flexible panels is disclosed. The loudspeaker system dissipates the energy of motion, resulting in less pronounced resonant peaks. The effect may be especially evident at high frequencies, where energy is dissipated over many cycles in a shorter period of time. Also disclosed are the method of making the loudspeaker system and a method of using the loudspeaker system.

  • Publication number: 20220307714
Abstract: Methods of determining operational capacity and efficiency of HVAC systems remotely at the time of installation or service are provided. Heating and cooling capacity and efficiency is determined as a function of system parameters, comprising elements such as: gas combustion efficiency, supply airflow and return airflow temperature and humidity, blower-motor air-flow volume and electricity consumption, ductwork static-pressure, and refrigerant pressure and temperature. The method includes steps for installation or service technicians to follow industry best-practice procedures, and complete a system start-up checklist. Steps include measuring and adjusting heating and cooling system components according to manufacturer's specifications. Field technicians then transmit photographic documentation to a remote location where measurements and readings are used to determine and verify operational system capacity and efficiency.
