  • Publication number: 20230171235
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed in which an edge user computing device pre-processes a stream of user data prior to using the stream of data to train a machine learning model at the edge device. The edge device receives the stream of user data, where the stream of data includes a first set of characteristics associated with the edge device and a second set of characteristics associated with a plurality of user requests received from a user of the edge device. The edge device repeatedly generates, using the stream of data, sets of pre-processed user data by performing pre-processing techniques on characteristics included in the stream of data. The edge device repeatedly trains, using the sets of pre-processed data, a baseline model to generate a device-trained model, where the baseline model is trained at the edge device without providing user data included in the stream of data to a server computer system.

  • Publication number: 20230129259
Abstract: Various embodiments of an apparatus, methods, systems and computer program products described herein are directed to detecting initiation of one or more shared libraries being loaded into a runtime memory of an application. While the one or more shared libraries are being loaded into the runtime memory, randomization code is placed into the runtime memory. For each respective shared library loaded into the runtime memory: randomization code allocates a new segment of runtime memory. The randomization code inserts a copy of the shared library into the new segment of runtime memory and overwrites a current segment of runtime memory at which the shared library is currently stored.

  • Patent number: 11605096
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for initiating a device security setting on detection of conditions indicating a fraudulent capture of a machine-readable code. A service provider, such as an electronic transaction processor for digital transactions, may provide in-person or device-to-device data transfers through machine-readable codes, such as to effectuate a payment from one mobile device to another. However, unauthorized devices may be in close enough proximity to also capture the code and impermissibly use the code. Thus, device security settings are used to detect whether fraud may occur in certain settings and implement an operation to hide a valid code. This may include operations to obtain information for the unauthorized device, make the code dynamic, or mask the code in a display. Once a nearby valid scanner is detected, such as through emitted light or sound, the valid code may be displayed.

  • Patent number: 11592973
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for dynamically modifying electronic content presented on a user device by third-party content providers based on goals associated with one or more entities. A content modification system may receive inputs related to goals for a user. The content modification system may synthesize the goals associated with the user. When the user uses a user device to request content from a third-party server, the content modification system may obtain the content and extract items included within the content. The content modification system may modify the content based on the synthesized goals, such as re-arranging the items, highlighting some of the items, or adding and/or removing items. The content modification system may cause the user device to present the modified content.

  • Publication number: 20230058234
Abstract: A method is disclosed to receive a signal, in a receiver from a transmitter (e.g., over a period of time). The signal propagates from the transmitter to the receiver in a direction of propagation. The receiver may move in a direction of motion relative to the transmitter. The signal includes a cyclic feature. The method may determine a change rate of a Doppler shift of the cyclic feature in the received signal. The method may determine, based on the change rate of the Doppler shift of the cyclic feature, an angle between the direction of motion of the receiver and the direction of propagation, the range between the receiver and the transmitter, and/or the locations of the transmitter and/or receiver.

  • Publication number: 20230054208
Abstract: A diagnostic system for a motor grader with a blade, a drawbar member, and a center shift mounting member associated with a drawbar-circle-moldboard (DCM) includes actuators connecting the blade to the DCM and interconnecting other components of the motor grader. The actuators affect movement of the blade relative to the DCM and affect movement of the other interconnected components relative to each other. Sensors generate signals indicative of a current position of the blade and positions of the other components of the motor grader. An input device receives an operator input indicative of a selection of predefined, diagnostic positions that can be checked visually by the operator for confirmation of proper operation. A controller selectively actuates the actuators based on the selection of a diagnostic position and a signal indicative of the current position of the blade to move the blade and other components of the motor grader into the selected diagnostic position.

  • Patent number: 11586173
Abstract: A method for CNC manufacturing is provided. The method includes computer-reading a digital model of a 3D part within a first topological space. An offset surface for the digital model in the first topological space is computer-generated. The offset surface in the first topological space is computer-transformed to a transformed offset surface in a second topological space embedded in the first topological space. A plurality of contours are computer-identified, at which a corresponding plurality of embedded parallel planes intersect the transformed offset surface in the second topological space. The plurality of contours in the second topological space are computer-transformed into a corresponding plurality of transformed contours in the first topological space. A CNC toolpath is computer-generated that traces each of the plurality of transformed contours in the first topological space, the CNC toolpath useable by a CNC machine to manufacture the 3D part.

  • Publication number: 20230048376
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a carbon neutral blockchain protocol for resolving carbon offsetter payments for cryptocurrency transactions. A service provider, such as an online transaction processor, may provide a green wallet and network protocol that provides carbon offsetting fees and payments to carbon offsetters in order to account for carbon emissions and usage when processing cryptocurrency transactions on a blockchain network protocol. A green wallet may be provided, which allows registration of carbon offsetters and use of green addresses to cause cryptocurrency to be processed in a green transaction. A user's digital wallet may sign an initial cryptocurrency transaction and provide the fee to the green wallet. The green wallet may then resolve the cryptocurrency transaction by further signing the transaction and transmitting the fee to a digital wallet of the carbon offsetter over another cryptocurrency processing network.
