  • Publication number: 20240120809
Abstract: A fluid pump includes a motor disposed within an outer housing. The motor includes a stator and a rotor in electromagnetic communication with the stator. Windings are disposed on the stator that receive an electric current for defining the electromagnetic communication. A pump element is attached to the rotor via a drive shaft. The pump element operates with the rotor to deliver a fluid through a hydraulic fluid path. A plurality of sensors measure information related to at least one of the stator, the windings, the rotor, the pump element, the fluid and the hydraulic fluid path. A controller is in communication with the windings for delivering the electric current to the windings. The controller is also in communication with the plurality of sensors for measuring and recording the information and communicating this information to one of an external memory and an external controller.

  • Publication number: 20240028558
Abstract: An information handling system includes a model-specific register and a basic input/output system (BIOS). The BIOS receives a selection of a number of processor cores to have enabled in a multiple core processor. In response to the reception of the selection of the number of processor cores to have enabled, the BIOS calculates a different latency for each of a plurality of processor cores in the multiple core processor. Based on the calculated different latency for each of the processor cores, the BIOS determines a first subset of the processor cores to enable and a second subset of the processor cores to disable. The BIOS sets bits in the model-specific register to indicate that the first subset of the processor cores is enabled and the second subset of the processor cores is disabled.

  • Publication number: 20240028344
Abstract: An information handling system includes a memory, and a basic input/output system (BIOS). The BIOS receives a request to map multiple processor cores to multiple integrated memory controllers of a multiple core processor. In response to the reception of the request, the BIOS calculates a different latency for each of the processor cores. Based on the calculated different latency for each of the processor cores, the BIOS assigns mapping priority levels to the processor cores of the multiple core processor. Based on the mapping priority levels, the BIOS maps each of the processor cores to an associated one of the integrated memory controllers. The BIOS stores the map of the processor cores in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20240030635
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for mounting a compression attached memory module (CAMM) to a printed circuit board (PCB). The apparatus includes the CAMM, a fastener and a z-axis compression connector. The CAMM includes a mounting through-hole. The fastener includes a friction snap with a first diameter. The compression connector includes a profiled mounting through-hole. The profiled mounting through-hole has a narrowest portion having a second diameter that is less than the first diameter. When the fastener is inserted through the mounting through-hole and the profiled mounting through-hole, and when the friction snap comes into contact with the narrowest portion, the friction snap is pushed through the narrowest portion, and, after pushing the friction snap through the narrowest portion, the CAMM, the compression connector, and the fastener are aligned and retained as a unit.
