  • Publication number: 20210079603
Abstract: A system and method transports a load across an expanse between first and second locations. The first and second locations can be on land and/or water and having a base surface of ground, waterbed, and/or vessel between them. The system includes supports, ramps, and a bridge assembly. The supports mounting on the base surface and are disposed on first and second sides of the expanse. The ramps mount on adjacent ones of the supports and/or on at least one the supports and the base surface. The bridge assembly has one or more longitudinal girders configured to extend parallel to one another across the expanse. Each girder has beams being modular and being hingedly connected end-to-end. Each girder has a first end supported on a first support, has a second end supported on a second support, and has an entire length between the ends that is self-supported. The entire self-supported length supports and transfers weight of the load to the ends supported on the supports.

  • Patent number: 10941337
Abstract: Suspension of proppants in hydraulic fracturing applications can be strongly affected by the cross-sectional shapes and lengths of the fibers present in the wellbore treatment compositions. For instance, it has been observed that crimped cellulose ester fibers with a trilobal cross-section and an optimized length can provide enhanced suspension of proppants in aqueous fracturing fluids. Furthermore, the present invention demonstrates that non-round cellulose ester fibers can provide superior proppant suspension properties relative to polylactic acid fibers with a round cross-section.

  • Publication number: 20210064217
Abstract: This application generally relates to defining, displaying and interacting with tags in a 3D model. In an embodiment, a method includes generating, by a system including a processor, a three-dimensional model of an environment based on sets of aligned three-dimensional data captured from the environment, and associating tags with defined locations of the three-dimensional model, wherein the tags are respectively represented by tag icons that are spatially aligned with the defined locations of the three-dimensional model as included in different representations of the three-dimensional model rendered via an interface of a device, wherein the different representations correspond to different perspectives of the three-dimensional model, and wherein selection of the tag icons causes the tags respectively associated therewith to be rendered at the device.

  • Publication number: 20210047461
Abstract: The present invention relates to a new structural class of phenalkamines, curing agent compositions comprising the phenalkamines, their use, as well as and methods of producing such phenalkamines and compositions. The phenalkamines of the present invention can be prepared by reacting cardanol with an aldehyde compound and triaminononane. These curing-agent compositions may be used to cure, harden, and/or crosslink an epoxy resin. The curing-agent compositions of this invention are of low viscosity and can be used neat or dissolved in a minimum amount of an organic solvent or diluent to effect cure of epoxy resins.

  • Patent number: 10893947
Abstract: A femoral augment, or set of augments, for use with a knee joint prosthesis, where the femoral augment includes a main body portion, an aperture formed within the main body portion and extending in a generally distal/proximal direction, and a pair of legs extending outwardly from said main body portion in a generally posterior direction. In the preferred embodiment, the aperture is configured to receive a stem extension implant, and to allow it to pass through. Additionally, the legs of the femoral augment are preferably configured to be seated proximal of a proximal side of a pair of condylar portions of a femoral component of a knee joint prosthesis. The present invention is intended for situations in which the distal portion of the femur is defective, and it provides a method and devices that allow for preservation of healthy peripheral bone, while still providing the necessary augmentation to the distal portion of the femur.

  • Patent number: 10876286
Abstract: A loosefill insulation installation includes a loosefill insulation material made from fiberglass fibers. The loosefill insulation material unexpectedly has improved thermal performance, even though the amount of mineral oil applied to the fiberglass fibers is reduced. For example, the fiberglass fibers can be coated with a mineral oil in an amount that is between 0.1% and 0.6% of the weight of the fiberglass fibers, such as about 0.375%.

  • Publication number: 20200401728
Abstract: A compromised data exchange system extracts data from websites using a crawler, detects portions within the extracted data that resemble personally identifying information (PII) data based on PII data patterns using a risk assessment module, and compares a detected portion to data within a database of disassociated compromised PII data to determine a match using the risk assessment module. A risk score may be assigned to a data item within the database in response to determining the match. In some embodiments, URL data may also be detected in the extracted data. The detected URL data represents further web sites that can be automatically crawled by the system to detect further PII data.

  • Publication number: 20200346915
Abstract: A beverage dispenser includes a gas infusion device that receives a base fluid and a gas and dispenses a gas infused liquid, a ratio pump that receives the gas infused liquid and a concentrate from a concentrate source and dispenses a predetermined ratio of the gas infused liquid and the concentrate, and a mixing chamber that mixes the predetermined ratio of the gas infused liquid and the concentrate to form a reconstituted beverage. An insulated enclosure has an interior space in which the ratio pump and the mixing chamber are positioned. A cooling heat exchanger is positioned in the insulated enclosure, and a first refrigeration system circulates a cooling media through the cooling heat exchanger to thereby cool the interior space to a suitable temperature such that the gas infused liquid and the concentrate dispensed from the ratio pump and the mixing chamber are cooled to the suitable temperature.
