  • Publication number: 20250140029
Abstract: A power line communication (PLC) self-test for tractor-trailers is provided. The self-test can be performed in a brake controller comprising a PLC transmitter configured to couple with a power line providing power from a tractor to at least one trailer coupled with the tractor. In the self-test, the brake controller causes the PLC transmitter to send a PLC test message on the power line and determines whether the brake controller received the PLC test message from a PLC receiver. If the brake controller did not receive the PLC test message from the PLC receiver, a fault message is generated. The PLC receiver can be in the brake controller or in a PLC receive electronic control unit (ECU), for example. Other embodiments are provided.

  • Patent number: 12288230
Abstract: To increase the efficiency of a used vehicle data processing process while still tailoring to an individual user's unique specifications on a used vehicle, at least some pre-calculations are performed by a backend process before a request for data for a specified vehicle is received through a web site or a web server on the Internet. A user can be presented with an interface where the user can make a variety of determinations. After the user requests data on a specific vehicle configuration, a frontend process handles user-provided data in conjunction with the data calculated in the backend process to ensure that the results are better tailored to the user's specific vehicle attributes. The results can include pricing data such as a trade-in price, a list price, an expected sale price or range of sale prices, market low sale price, market average sale price, market high sale price, etc.

  • Patent number: 12289438
Abstract: A device and a corresponding system are disclosed. The device may comprise a display. Additionally, the device and/or system may be operable to detect stale images. Further, the stale images may be detected in devices and/or systems where incoming images—such as from an imager—are received at a frame rate different than that of the display. A controller may detect the stale images by assigning hash values to images of each frame displayed by the display; storing novel hash values in a memory; and maintaining a counter. The counter may be maintained such that assigning a repeat hash value increments the counter by one and assigning novel hash values resets the counter to zero. Further, the stale images may be determined based, at least in part, on the counter value.

  • Publication number: 20250133197
Abstract: Mathematical relationships between the scene geometry, camera parameters, and viewing environment are used to control stereography to obtain various results influencing the viewer's perception of 3D imagery. The methods may include setting a horizontal shift, convergence distance, and camera interaxial parameter to achieve various effects. The methods may be implemented in a computer-implemented tool for interactively modifying scene parameters during a 2D-to-3D conversion process, which may then trigger the re-rendering of the 3D content on the fly.

  • Patent number: 12283272
Abstract: Techniques for processing utterance audio are described. In an example, a computer system determines audio data representing an utterance detected by a device, and generates, based at least in part the audio data, first data representing at least one of portion of the utterance in a frequency domain. The first data specific is to a first frequency range. The computer system determines determining a second frequency range that is a subset of the first frequency range, the second frequency range meeting a frequency threshold, and generates, based at least in part on the first data, second data that represents the at least one portion in the frequency domain. The second data is specific to the second frequency range. The computer system determines, based at least in part on the second data, that additional audio data associated with the device is to be processed.
