  • Patent number: 4627717
Abstract: Cleaning apparatus for removing residual single component magnetic toner from a charge retentive surface. The cleaning apparatus comprises a magnetic cleaning roller and a magnetic image disturber, the latter of which includes a pair of blade members which are spacially oriented so that two adjacent ends thereof form a gap therebetween which is disposed adjacent the charge retentive surface. The opposite ends of the blade members are disposed adjacent the magnetic roller such that upon rotation of the roller a pulsating magnetic field is created across the gap.

  • Patent number: 4623803
Abstract: An improved logic level translator circuit for translating logic signals of non-TTL circuits to logic signals of TTL circuits is presented. The translator circuit as presented includes circuitry for providing elimination of noise spiking and the resultant erroneous switching caused by simultaneous conduction of TTL circuit outputs as they change states.

  • Patent number: 4567848
Abstract: A new and improved structure for agitating the developer in the sump of a developer apparatus. To this end one or more magnetic steel shim or blade members are provided in the developer sump adjacent the outlet thereof and in the vicinity of a magnetic developer roll. The shape and location of the shim or blade members in the developer sump are such that a transport magnet (i.e., developer roll) rotatably supported adjacent the outlet of the sump causes vibration of the shim or blades due to the coupling and decoupling therebetween of the magnetic force fields created through the rotation of the developer roll.

  • Patent number: 4527079
Abstract: An integrated circuit device containing internal logic and/or memory circuitry is provided with means to receive multiple inputs at the voltage levels of different logic families and with means to provide multiple outputs at the voltage levels of different logic families. On-chip input translators receive the inputs at the level of a given logic family and translate to the level required by the internal logic and/or memory circuitry. After performance of logic and/or memory functions, on-chip output translators translate the output of the internal logic and/or memory circuitry and provide external outputs at the voltage levels of different logic families. The internal logic and/or memory circuitry may be of a single logic family or may be composed of several logic families. On-chip translators may also be added between internal logic and/or memory circuitry of different families.
