Abstract: A prosthetic limb has transverse planes and sagittal planes parallel to a horizontal and a medial plane of a user, respectively. The prosthetic limb includes a tibia section, an ankle section, and a foot section. The ankle section defines an ankle axis and is rotatably coupled to the tibia section such that the ankle section and the tibia section rotate about the ankle axis. The foot section secures to the ankle section and has a foot sagittal plane defining a line of progression. The foot section includes a base foot and a toe portion pivotally coupled to the base foot such that the toe portion is configured to pivot about a toe axis relative to the base foot. The toe axis is angled relative to the line of progression at a toe angle in a transverse plane of the foot section. The toe angle is less than 90 degrees.

The generator comprising a magnetic linear motor that is configured to generate electrical energy in response to movement of a portion of the prosthetic limb. Abstract: The present invention relates to the treatment of cardiovascular disease, more particularly to the treatment of subjects suffering from or at risk of suffering from atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease that are hypo-responsive to HIS treatment. The present inventors have found that HIS hypo-responders show remarkable improvements in their blood lipid profiles when their statin therapy is combined with treatment with the CETP inhibitor obicetrapib. In a general aspect, the present invention thus provides methods of treating subjects that are hypo-responsive to high intensity statin (HIS) therapy, said method comprising the administration of a composition comprising obicetrapib or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate or solvate thereof.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an anatomically aligned prosthetic ankle with a passive assist and associated methods. The prosthetic ankle includes a talus movably coupled to a tibia section by a connector about which the talus is pivotal such so during locomotion by a user of the prosthetic ankle. The passive to assist provides a selected dorsi-flexion force to aid in the push-off or pre-swing phases of gait for the user.

The reinforcement structural device consists of a seamless woven tubular sheath impregnated with a hardening resin which is adapted for insertion into a network of underground water conduits without the need to excavate. The seamless woven tubular sheath consists of continuous longitudinal fiber warp yarn providing tensile strength along the longitudinal axis of the woven tubular sheath and circumferential fiber filling yarn providing tensile strength around the wall of the woven tubular sheath.
