  • Publication number: 20220182353
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software described herein manage server connection resets based on domain name server (DNS) information. In one implementation, a firewall may receive a reverse DNS request from a computing system and communicate a request to a DNS security service to determine whether a destination associated with the reverse DNS request is malicious. The firewall further receives a response from the DNS security service that indicates that the destination is malicious and, when the response indicates that the destination is malicious, communicates a reset command to the destination to reset a connection between the destination and the computing system.

  • Publication number: 20220174031
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables detection of domain hijacking when a DNS resolver is performing a DNS lookup. In a particular embodiment, a method provides, in response to a request to resolve a network address corresponding to a domain name, determining that a nameserver for the domain name is suspect based on satisfaction of nameserver criteria associated with the domain name. The method further includes preventing the nameserver from being used to resolve the request in response to determining that the nameserver is suspect.

  • Publication number: 20220111566
Abstract: A system and method for achieving a one component growable resin system includes a quantity of growable resin and a quantity of growth initiator. The quantity of growable resin is in a final solid state, and the quantity of growth initiator is in an inactive form. A usable initiator portion, that includes a plurality of resin molecules and is from the quantity of growth initiator, contacts a usable resin portion, from the quantity of growable resin. Being in an inactive form, the usable initiator portion is unable to cause resin growth by being physically inactive or by being physically separate from the usable resin portion. The usable initiator portion is activated to initiate a chemical reaction amongst the plurality of molecules. The chemical reaction results with growth in the usable resin portion by increasing the molecular weight of the usable resin portion.

  • Patent number: 11263775
Abstract: A system for surveying a surface (2) to measure a physical or chemical property associated with the surface. The system includes a handheld probe (4) measuring a physical or chemical property at locations over a surface (2). The video camera (12) captures video data of a user (6) using the handheld probe (4) to survey the surface. The depth sensing device (14) measures the distance to the handheld probe (4). Processing circuitry identifies the handheld probe from the video data and determines the position of the handheld probe (4) relative to the surface (2). A data recorder and/or a data transmitter records and/or transmits data representative of the physical or chemical property measured by the handheld probe (4) and data representative of the associated position of the handheld probe, when the handheld probe (4) is determined to be less than a threshold distance from the surface (2) being surveyed.

  • Patent number: 11238038
Abstract: The present approach assigns a code to each node class of a data tree modeling a database. The node class codes may be used to generate a node class path for each node class. This class path may be used as a discriminator to reference a given node class or portion of the tree including the class path and may be stored in a field of the database and/or cached. Use of the class path in query operations reduces the complexity of certain queries, thereby speeding up query performance.

  • Patent number: 11203848
Abstract: A system for controlling water distribution from a water distribution vehicle includes spray heads for spraying water from the vehicle and an actuator system for turning the spray heads on and off. A computer processor is programmed to control the actuator system in response to a sensor input. The system can include means for measuring the ground speed of the vehicle, such as a GPS, and the sensor input signal can be associated with the ground speed of the vehicle. Using a pulse width modulated signal, the processor can adjust water flow from the spray heads based on the vehicle ground speed. The processor also can be programmed to prevent water flow from one or more spray heads when the vehicle speed is below a minimum speed or as the vehicle speed is reduced.

  • Patent number: 11138093
Abstract: Identifying and reporting potential data inconsistencies and/or potential data contentions based on historic debugging traces. Based on replay of a thread, some implementations observe an influx of a value to a memory cell, and determine whether the value of the memory cell observed from the influx is inconsistent with a prior value of the memory cell as known by the thread. If so, these implementations can initiate an indication of a data inconsistency. Based on replay of a plurality of threads, other implementations identify a memory cell that was accessed by a first thread while a thread synchronization mechanism was active on the first thread. Then, if there was another access to the memory cell by a second thread without use of the thread synchronization mechanism, these implementations might initiate an indication of a potential data contention.

  • Patent number: 11132280
Abstract: This disclosure relates to identifying and presenting differences between a plurality of recorded executions of an executable entity. One or more models are created over the plurality of recorded prior executions of at least a portion of an executable entity. These models include at least one of (i) a control flow model, or (ii) a data model. An anomalous model data point is identified within these models, and a first location in at least one of the plurality of recorded executions that corresponds to the anomalous model data point is identified. A second location in the at least one of the plurality of recorded executions is also identified. This second location is causal to the anomalous model data point at the first location. The identity of the first and/or second locations in the least one of the plurality of recorded executions is presented.
