Publication number: 20210128869Abstract: Briefly summarized, embodiments disclosed herein are directed to apparatus and methods for removing an occlusion from an indwelling catheter. The system can include a pressurized fluid conduit for delivering pressurized fluid to an occlusion site, and ablating the occlusion. A negative pressure source in fluid communication with the catheter lumen can then aspirate the occlusion. The positive pressure source can provide a pulsed pressurized fluid to facilitate ablation. The system can also include tip tracking and tip location systems to ensure the pressurized fluid conduit does not extend beyond the catheter lumen, causing damage to the vasculature. The system can further include an ultrasound transducer, coupled with one of the catheter and the pressurized fluid conduit to provide ultrasonic wave energy to the occlusion to further facilitate ablation thereof.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2020Publication date: May 6, 2021Inventors: Michael Davis, Gidon Ofek, Edward David Bell, Samuel Joseph Akins

Publication number: 20210121675Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, devices, and methods for thrombolysis. For example, a medical device for thrombolysis can include a conduit, a supply reservoir, and a waste reservoir. The conduit can be configured to insert into a lumen of a venous access device having an intraluminal clot. The conduit can include a supply lumen configured to convey an aqueous thrombolytic composition from the supply reservoir through an opening in a distal-end portion of the conduit to the intraluminal clot. The waste reservoir can be configured to collect waste from the lumen of the venous access device including fibrin fragments, platelets, red blood cells, or spent solution of the thrombolytic composition used to break down the intraluminal clot. Administering a thrombolytic composition in accordance with the disclosed systems, devices, and methods can break down clots more quickly than at least the common 3-way stopcock method.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 1, 2020Publication date: April 29, 2021Inventors: Michael Davis, Gidon Ofek, Austin Russon

Patent number: 10936613Abstract: The present approach improves the query performance of a database in a manner that is transparent to a user. In one aspect, this approach creates separate partition tables that are not directly accessible to a user of the database. A client-facing aspect of the database is a logical model which may correspond to a single, main table with which the user interacts. Thus, queries or operations may be generated on the client side in the context of the logical model. A database or query layer can then, transparent to the user, translate the user generated requests into query language that addresses the proper partitions to generate a result set or otherwise perform a database operation.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2017Date of Patent: March 2, 2021Assignee: ServiceNow, Inc.Inventors: Joseph Michael Davis, Joey Mart

Patent number: 10939140Abstract: A system and method for selective capture of and presentation of native image portions are provided. In a first embodiment a first image or video is captured at a first resolution, which resolution is greater than high definition and higher than a predetermined broadcast display resolution. A desired portion of the native, first image or video is then displayed at a second, lower resolution, which resolution is less than and closer to the predetermined broadcast display resolution. Accordingly, a selected portion of the captured image may be displayed at or near the predetermined broadcast display resolution. In other exemplary embodiments, video is captured at a first frame rate that is higher than a predetermined broadcast frame rate, and an extraction window extracts frames from a portion of the native, first video to provide improved broadcast quality of the portion(s) selected by the extraction window.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 2012Date of Patent: March 2, 2021Assignee: FOX SPORTS PRODUCTIONS, LLCInventors: Michael Davies, David Eric Shanks, Gerald Steinberg

Patent number: 10922210Abstract: The automatic identification of execution behavior(s) of software. This automatic identification is based on a historical analysis of execution records to identify a particular pattern that represents an execution behavior. In order to automatically identify an execution behavior present within particular software, an execution record (or perhaps multiple execution records) representing the execution of that particular software may be accessed. Based on finding the particular pattern within the execution record (or one, some, or all of the multiple execution records) representing the execution of that particular software, the computing system may automatically identify that the execution behavior is present within the software. This may dramatically assist in modifying that execution behavior.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2019Date of Patent: February 16, 2021Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Leslie Yvette Richardson, Jackson Michael Davis, Del Myers, Thomas Lai, Andrew R.
