  • Patent number: 10217706
Abstract: Some embodiments include methods of forming electrically conductive lines. Photoresist features are formed over a substrate, with at least one of the photoresist features having a narrowed region. The photoresist features are trimmed, which punches through the narrowed region to form a gap. Spacers are formed along sidewalls of the photoresist features. Two of the spacers merge within the gap. The photoresist features are removed to leave a pattern comprising the spacers. The pattern is extended into the substrate to form a plurality of recesses within the substrate. Electrically conductive material is formed within the recesses to create the electrically conductive lines. Some embodiments include semiconductor constructions having a plurality of lines over a semiconductor substrate. Two of the lines are adjacent to one another and are substantially parallel to one another except in a region wherein said two of the lines merge into one another.

  • Publication number: 20190038425
Abstract: Knee prostheses that more faithfully replicate the structure and function of the human knee joint in order to provide, among other benefits: greater flexion of the knee in a more natural way by promoting or accommodating internal tibial rotation, replication of the natural screw home mechanism, and controlled articulation of the tibia and femur respective to each other in a natural way. Such prostheses may include an insert component disposed between a femoral component and a tibial component, the insert component featuring, among other things, a reversely contoured posterolateral bearing surface that helps impart internal rotation to the tibia as the knee flexes. Other surfaces can be shaped using iterative automated techniques that allow testing and iterative design taking into account a manageable set of major forces acting on the knee during normal functioning, together with information that is known about natural knee joint kinetics and kinematics.

  • Publication number: 20190018983
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein for removing sensitive content from documents in a manner that preserves the usefulness of the documents for subsequent analysis. For instance, the technique obscures sensitive content in the documents, while retaining meaningful information in the documents for subsequent processing by a machine-learning engine or other machine-implemented analysis mechanisms. According to one illustrative aspect, the technique removes sensitive content from documents using a modification strategy that is chosen based on one or more selection factors. One selection factor pertains to the nature of the processing that is to be performed on the documents after they have been anonymized.

  • Publication number: 20180357645
Abstract: A voice-actuated system is described that allows voice authentication of on-line secure commands, such as purchases, by one or more designated users. It allows for an account to have multiple signatories that are required to approve a secure command. A user speaks commands into a local microphone, or in another embodiment, into a mobile device. A command recognition device identifies a secure command and sends it to a spectrum/cadence device to analyze spectrum and/or cadence. Also, the voice input may be sent to a word count/grammar device to analyze word counts and grammar errors to identify the user. Once identified, the account of user may be found and contact information for other signatories is acquired. The signatories are contacted and their identities are verified by comparison of their voices to pre-stored voice samples of the signatories.
