  • Publication number: 20210131849
Abstract: Techniques are described for determining an amount of fuel that is consumed by the body components of a vehicle, based at least partly on sensor data describing the operations of the body components and/or the location of the vehicle. A vehicle is equipped with a body that has any suitable number of body components that perform operations not directly associated with the translational movement of the vehicle from one location to another. Fuel is consumed to provide power (e.g., through power take off) to operate the body components. The vehicle includes sensor device(s) configured to sense the operations of the body components and generate sensor data that describes the operations of the body components. The sensor data is analyzed to determine an amount of fuel that is consumed to power the operations of the body components.

  • Publication number: 20210123327
Abstract: A technique facilitates formation of a gravel pack along relatively lengthy wellbores. According to an embodiment, a completion system comprises a plurality of screen assemblies. The completion system also has an alternate path system disposed along the plurality of screen assemblies. The alternate path system includes shunt tubes, e.g. transport tubes, coupled together by jumper tubes. An anti-buckling structure is coupled to each jumper tube to prevent buckling when high operational pressures, e.g. operating pressures of 9000 psi or higher, are applied to the alternate path system.

  • Patent number: 10978053
Abstract: A system determines user intent from a received conversation element. A plurality of distinct intent labels are generated for the received conversation element. The generated plurality of distinct intent labels are divided into a plurality of interpretation partitions with overlapping semantic content. for each interpretation partition of the plurality of interpretation partitions, a set of maximal coherent subgroups are defined that do not disagree on labels for terms in each subgroup, a score is computed for each maximal coherent subgroup of the defined set of maximal coherent subgroups, and a maximal coherent subgroup is selected from the set of maximal coherent subgroups based on the computed score. Intent labels are aggregated from the selected maximal coherent subgroup of each interpretation partition of the plurality of interpretation partitions to define a multiple intent interpretation of the received conversation element.

  • Patent number: 10936675
Abstract: The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for developing an item data model for an item. Aspects of the invention can automate the process of data collection of “facts” for “items” that information is needed about. Facts can be organized and normalized to eliminate redundant facts, and interpret what is found. Data requirements extraction and automated modeling using a combination of data virtualization, data analytics, extract, transform, and load (ETL), web crawlers, and reverse engineering systems, can be used along with other technologies to develop an item model. A model owner feeds a curating module with the information for locating the facts to be used, and initiating the modeling process. Existing data structures, websites, vendor input, etc. can be described to the import process, and an item model is produced. The model can be imported into existing modeling tools for viewing, or viewed as XML.

  • Publication number: 20210002987
Abstract: A technique facilitates gravel packing along a borehole. According to an embodiment, a shunt system is positioned along a sand screen system. The shunt system comprises a plurality of transport tubes and a plurality of packing tubes. A manifold is coupled to the plurality of transport tubes and to the plurality of packing tubes at a corresponding sand screen joint of the sand screen system. The manifold serves to separate a portion of the gravel slurry flowing through the plurality of transport tubes and to direct the portion into the corresponding packing tubes. Additionally, a commingler is positioned along the plurality of transport tubes at a location separate from the manifold. The commingler has an internal chamber where gravel slurry is received from uphole transport tube sections and is commingled before flowing into downhole transport tube sections.

  • Publication number: 20200406412
Abstract: A work support and method of clamping a translatable component of a hydraulic work support system. The work support may include a rigid, hollow slotted collet, a sleeve, and the translatable component, such as a plunger or rod. Hydraulic fluid may be pumped into an inlet of the hydraulic work support system to hydraulically actuate the translatable component outward from a first retracted position to a second extended position. The hydraulic fluid may further be pumped to the sleeve at a sufficient pressure that the sleeve presses against the collet. The collet responds thereto by flexing into contact with the translatable component, thus holding the translatable component in the second extended position. The slots in the collet allow for flexure even when using a thicker material with stronger column strength.
