Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for the development and implementation of complex educational and training software systems. The system employs a macromedia software engine that, using a tag-based text document as an input, is capable of creating customizable macromedia output for display via a computer and through a network.

Abstract: An expandable display apparatus comprises a main display unit and first and second expandable display panels. The main unit is defined as having a centerline axis. The main unit includes a pair of side walls oriented substantially along and disposed on opposite sides of the centerline axis. One or both of the side walls may include a display panel. The main unit contains first and second end openings oriented substantially across the centerline axis and disposed in opposing spaced-apart relation. The end openings communicate with a storage space between the pair of side walls. The display panels are removably stored side-by-side in the storage space and are movable in opposite directions through the end openings. The panels are movable along respective paths between respective stored positions inside the storage space and respective extended positions outside the storage space. The display panels align with the centerline axis of the main unit when the panels are in the extended position.

Abstract: A hip-activated tremolo bar for a guitar which extends from the back of the guitar is illustrated. A curved stop and a securing pin provides a limit for the forward movement of the bridge when the hip-activated tremolo bar is used.

Abstract: Mill annealed commercial insulated copper wire 20 used to fabricate high Residual Resistivity Ratio (RRR) windings 12 is unwound from a supply spool 22 and wound onto an annealing spool 24, annealed on the annealing spool 24, and unwound from the annealing spool 24 and wound onto an actuator bobbin 18. The annealing spool 24 is selected to have the same outside diameter as the actuator bobbin 18. The temperature of a single layer of wire 32 on the annealing spool 24 is raised in an incremental fashion to an annealing temperature in a vacuum furnace. The annealing spool 24 is held at the annealing temperature for a period of time at least equal to the annealing time required for the single layer of wire 32 and not longer than the survival time of an insulative coating on the single layer of wire 32. After annealing, the annealing spool 24 is cooled naturally to room temperature partially under vacuum and partially in an inert gas atmosphere.
