Patent number: 12266254Abstract: Described are techniques for corroborating anomalous behavior. The techniques include training devices included in an Internet of Things (IoT) mesh network to independently identify occurrences of anomalous behavior in a proximate physical environment. The techniques further include receiving event data from at least a portion of the devices in the IoT mesh network corresponding to a time window, where the event data reports occurrences of at least one type of anomalous behavior. The techniques further include corroborating the at least one type of anomalous behavior to determine that the occurrences of the at least one type of anomalous behavior indicate an anomalous event that meets a reporting threshold for providing notice of the anomalous event. The techniques further include generating a notification regarding the anomalous event.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 2022Date of Patent: April 1, 2025Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Kevin W. Publication number: 20240390767Abstract: A system that detects when a user starts an action, such as a golf stroke or tennis stroke, and provides feedback to indicate the desired timing of one or more phases of the action. For example, timing feedback signals may be sent to indicate when each phase should ideally finish as a training aid to guide the user towards improving performance of the action. Equipment used by the user may be equipped with an inertial motion sensor that captures data throughout the action; data may be transmitted to a processor, such as a mobile device or a server, for analysis, and feedback signals (such as audio tones) may be sent to the user throughout the action based on this analysis. The user may initiate an action at any time, without needing a prompt from the system to begin the action, since the system may dynamically detect when an action begins.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2024Publication date: November 28, 2024Applicant: BLAST MOTION INC.Inventors: Michael FITZPATRICK, Bhaskar BOSE

Publication number: 20240307453Abstract: Provided herein are methods for administering platelet derivatives, such as freeze-dried platelet derivatives (FDPDs) to a subject, comprising administering an effective dose of the platelet derivatives in a platelet derivative composition to the subject. Such effective dose in illustrative embodiments, includes multiple individual doses, or a continuous dose administered within a time period, for example a time period of less than 4 hours. In certain aspects herein the subject is a subject having Hermansky Pudlak Syndrome (HPS). The platelet derivatives can have numerous characteristics provided herein that make them well suited to restore hemostatic functions in the subject. In some embodiments, the platelet derivatives are from a pool of donors, and are HLA Class 1-characterized platelet derivatives (e.g., FDPDs), which in certain illustrative embodiments are HLA Class 1-matched FDPDs.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 2, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Applicant: Cellphire, Inc.Inventors: Keith Andrew MOSKOWITZ, William Matthew DICKERSON, Maria Teresa ABREU-BLANCO, Lisa Ellen BOOTH, Emma Caitlin LESHAN, Ana Maria SWANSON, Arjun Shyam CHERUPALLA, Benjamin J.
