  • Patent number: 11510404
Abstract: A boom sprayer includes any number of components to treat plants as the boom sprayer travels through a plant field. The components take actions to treat plants or facilitate treating plants. The boom sprayer includes any number of sensors to measure the state of the boom sprayer as the boom sprayer treats plants. The boom sprayer includes a control system to generate actions for the components to treat plants in the field. The control system includes an agent executing a model that functions to improve the performance of the boom sprayer treating plants. Performance improvement can be measured by the sensors of the boom sprayer. The model is an artificial neural network that receives measurements as inputs and generates actions that improve performance as outputs. The artificial neural network is trained using actor-critic reinforcement learning techniques.

  • Patent number: 11512512
Abstract: An aircraft door translation hinge assembly connects a passenger door of an aircraft to the aircraft fuselage structure and enables the passenger door to move through a desired opening motion. The opening motion of the passenger door is controlled by a simplified mechanism that utilizes a pair of linkages connected by a cam surface follower that engages in sliding engagement with a cam surface. The simplified mechanism controls a pivoting movement of the passenger door as the passenger door is first opened, and then controls a translation movement of the passenger door as the passenger door is continued to be opened from a passenger door opening in the aircraft fuselage.

  • Publication number: 20220353302
Abstract: A dynamic Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) enforcement solution is disclosed. A mail transfer agent (MTA) receives an email and obtains an originating email domain from the email. The MTA queries a dynamic DMARC module (which can be implemented on a domain name system (DNS) infrastructure or the MTA) about any local policy override associated with the originating email domain. DMARC policy overrides can be published from a source system and stored locally to the dynamic DMARC module (e.g., on the DNS infrastructure or the MTA). The MTA receives a response which contains the local policy override published from the source system and dynamically overrides the fact that the email had failed DMARC. In this way, an email which failed DMARC can still be dynamically considered and delivered if a local policy override that is published from a source system indicates that it should be delivered.

  • Patent number: 10564701
Abstract: Microcomputer with a sleep mode system uses a non-volatile memory stack for saving system variables, then switches the microcomputer completely off to go into sleep-mode. In sleep-mode, the microcomputer sleep mode system uses a low powered clock and sensors to trigger time events and device events that power up the microcomputer when needed. When in awake-mode, the microcomputer logs any data from connected device(s). The microcomputer turns on an internet radio and transmits data logged, updates its clock time and receives any configuration updates before powering back down into sleep-mode.

  • Patent number: 10553846
Abstract: Described are techniques for improving the functionality of a computing device by regulating the temperature of an energy storage device used to power the computing device. A housing that encloses the energy storage device may include a first portion having a thermal conductivity that exceeds that of a second portion. The first portion may be configured to contact or be positioned proximate to a user's body or other heat-producing object during use. Heat from the user's body or other object may be conducted through the first portion of the housing toward the energy storage device. The less-conductive second portion of the housing may reduce the rate at which heat from the energy storage device is transmitted into the ambient environment. As a result, the temperature of the energy storage device may increase, improving the performance thereof.

  • Patent number: 10279911
Abstract: A system and method for storing and sequencing a plurality of luggage items. The system includes containers with vertically stacked shelves and an automatic guided vehicle releasably attachable to the containers for transporting a container between a first predetermined area and a loading area with a loading assembly to move a luggage item from an entrance conveyor onto one of the shelves of the container. The containers may include wheels for being manually moved. A transport vehicle is provided for moving a plurality of containers together. The method includes determining a grouping criterion of the luggage item and sorting and sequencing luggage items onto containers according to the grouping criterion. Different embodiments of the loading assembly are provided with one using a packing automated vehicle and another using stacked platform conveyors. Several grouping criteria are provided which may depend on processing requirements of the luggage items.

  • Patent number: 10275109
Abstract: A system for traversing between nodes within a user interface receives a directional command from a user. The directional command is a command to move a focus away from a current node. The system also determines a next node to move the focus onto. The determining the next node is based on the relative positioning between the current node and the other nodes. The determining the next node is based on previous movements of the focus that were performed prior to moving the focus onto the current node. The system also performs movement of the focus from the current node onto the next node.
