  • Publication number: 20210307860
Abstract: A conductor-less, shape-able, surgical lighting system and methods for use in surgical applications in which a medical clinician, once having established a surgical site, can shape the lighting system to selectively illuminate desired volumes of the surgical site. The system includes preselected lengths of an elongate light emitting member formed of a transparent elastomer matrix material having a glass transition temperature of lower than or substantially equal to room temperature to render the elongate light emitting member bendable and shape-able. Embedded in the transparent elastomer matrix material are particles of a transparent material having a refractive index different from a refractive index of the matrix material dispersed in the elastomer matrix material so that light coupled into the elongate light emitting member is scattered and refracted out of the elongate light emitting member along its length. One end of the elongate light emitting member is coupled with a light source.

  • Patent number: 11113906
Abstract: Predictive maintenance and diagnostics for an electronic module of an autonomous vehicle using modular condition monitoring is described herein. A computing system receives a signal from a data logger which monitors a condition of the electronic module of the autonomous vehicle, wherein the signal is indicative of damage accumulation information thereof. The computing system identifies a type of the electronic module and a damage accumulation threshold for the type of the electronic module to generate a predicted maintenance schedule for the electronic module of the autonomous vehicle. The damage accumulation information can be stored in a data store to define the damage accumulation threshold for the type of the electronic module.

  • Publication number: 20210272796
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to forming a sub-stoichiometric metal-oxide film using a modified atomic layer deposition (ALD) process. In a non-limiting embodiment of the invention, a first precursor and a second precursor are selected. The first precursor can include a metal and a first ligand. The second precursor can include the same metal and a second ligand. A substrate can be exposed to the first precursor during a first pulse of an ALD cycle. The substrate can be exposed to the second precursor during a second pulse of the ALD cycle. The second pulse can occur directly after the first pulse without an intervening thermal oxidant. The substrate can be exposed to the thermal oxidant during a third pulse of the ALD cycle.

  • Publication number: 20210250402
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for cross-system storage management for transferring data across autonomous information management systems. Data may be transferred from one information management system to another information management system without interfering with or overriding each system's autonomy. For example, a secondary copy of production data (e.g., backed up data) is transferred from a first information management system that originated the data to a component of another “foreign” information management system. A first storage manager that manages the first information management system also manages the cross-system data transfer operation to a “foreign” client computing device, which remains under autonomous management as a component of the foreign information management system.

  • Patent number: 11086755
Abstract: The invention relates to an application monitoring tool. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the application monitoring tool has an integrated event/tracing API that traces distributed and non-distributed system flows. For example, a tracing approach may be integrated with a Metrics functionality in that tracing may be throttled or turned on/off based on defined intervals, threshold breaches, and/or anomaly detection of related metrics. If an application's web service calls are beginning to take longer than “normal,” an event/tracing collection feature may be activated to trace calls to enable deeper analysis of the problem.

A multispectral light source of the system comprises: blue, green and red LEDs, and one or more non-visible light sources, each being independently addressable and configured to emit, in a sequence: at least visible white light, and non-visible light in one or more given non-visible frequency ranges. The system further comprises a camera and an optical filter arranged to filter light received at the camera, by: transmitting visible light from the LEDs; filter out non-visible light from the non-visible light sources; and otherwise transmit excited light emitted by a tissue sample excited by non-visible light. Images acquired by the camera are output to a display device. A control unit synchronizes acquisition of respective images at the camera for each of blue light, green light, visible white light, and excited light received at the camera, as reflected by the tissue sample.
