    Abstract: A bullet comprising a compacted mixture of copper powder comprising particles that are physically bonded to each other to form a cohesive and ductile microstructure is disclosed. Methods of making such a bullet through powdered metallurgy techniques, which provide sufficient properties to allow the bullet to be loaded into a cartridge and crimped without fracture are also disclosed. Such bullets have sufficient strength to maintain their integrity during firing but may fragment upon impact and can be formulated lead-free.

Parameters such as the number of decoder iterations that are performed on Forward Error Correction (FEC), Interference Mitigation algorithm, or dynamic adjustment loop bandwidth to combat phase noise can be adjusted autonomously to optimize receiver performance. The all software modem, supported by a High-Performance Computing (HPC) architecture, removes the limitation due to the flexibility of programming resources and available performance.

In this process, polyepoxides and compounds which contain one or more, preferably 2, hydroxyl groups per molecule are converted at higher temperatures and in the presence of catalysts to epoxide-containing intermediates. A solvent or a mixture of solvents is then added with external cooling and the solution is then caused to boil under reflux, if necessary by application of a vacuum, until the temperature of the solution drops to 95° C. to 20° C.
