  • Patent number: 10642465
Abstract: A method and system for media selection and sharing is disclosed. According to one embodiment, media content is received from a media source and is stored in a buffer for a first time period. A second time period within the first time period is determined for creating a media clip from the media content stored in the buffer. A media clip is generated as determined by the second time period. A user provides an input, and the user's input is associated with the media clip to take one or more effects on the media clip. The media clip enhanced with the one more effects is transmitted over a network to share with other users.

  • Publication number: 20200137409
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to producing an extrapolated frame based on motion vectors. One example provides a computing device comprising a logic machine and a storage machine comprising instructions executable by the logic machine to, for each block of one or more blocks of pixels in rendered image data, generate a motion vector indicating motion between a current frame and a prior frame, and for each block of the one or blocks, extrapolate a predicted block of pixels from the current frame based on the motion vector and one or more prior motion vectors for the block, the one or more prior motion vectors determined via one or more corresponding frames preceding the prior frame. The instructions are further executable to produce an extrapolated frame comprising the predicted block of pixels for each block of the one or more blocks, and display the extrapolated frame.

  • Patent number: 10638262
Abstract: A tracking server stores information identifying one or more community mobile devices and information identifying one or more tracking devices within a proximity of each of the one or more community mobile devices. The tracking server receives a tracking device request from a mobile device. The tracking device request includes information identifying a tracking device and configuration instructions for configuring the tracking device. The tracking server identifies a community mobile device from the one or more community mobile devices within a proximity of the tracking device. The tracking server sends the tracking device request to the identified community mobile device. The identified community mobile device is configured to forward the tracking device request to the tracking device and the tracking device is configured to re-configure the tracking device based on the configuration instructions included in the tracking device request.

  • Patent number: 10636583
Abstract: A system may include a controller configured to cause a capacitance probe to subject a material to a first electric signal having a first frequency and determine a first capacitance of the material at the first frequency. The controller is configured to cause the capacitance probe to subject the material to a second electric signal at a second frequency and determine a second capacitance of the material at the second frequency. The material includes at least a first constituent phase and a second constituent phase. The first constituent phase and the second constituent phase have substantially similar dielectric constants at the first frequency and substantially different dielectric constants at the second frequency. The controller is further configured to determine a porosity of the material based on the first capacitance and determine a relative phase composition of the first constituent phase and the second constituent phase based on the second capacitance.

  • Patent number: 10629198
Abstract: It is inter alia disclosed to perform at least one of operating an interaction process with a user of the medical apparatus and determining, based on a representation of at least one instruction given by the user, at least one instruction operable by the medical apparatus. Therein, the at least one of the operating and the determining at least partially depends on operational data. It is further disclosed to receive modification information for modifying at least a part of the operational data, wherein the modification information is at least partially determined based on an analysis of a representation of at least one instruction given by the user.

  • Patent number: 10623249
Abstract: A tracking device can be reconfigured after an amount of operation to preserve the battery capacity of the tracking device and to ensure that the tracking device can be operated for a pre-determined threshold period of time. The tracking device can provide diagnostic information representative of a state of the tracking device, such as a current power capacity of the tracking device's battery, to a mobile device within a threshold proximity of the tracking device. The mobile device can then provide the diagnostic information to a tracking server, which in turn can provide reconfiguration instructions to the mobile device. The mobile device can then pass on the reconfiguration instructions to the tracking device, in response to which the tracking device can reconfigure itself.

  • Patent number: 10600408
Abstract: Techniques for ensuring content output to a user conforms to a quality of the user's speech, even when a speechlet or skill ignores the speech's quality, are described. When a system receives speech, the system determines an indicator of the speech's quality (e.g., whispered, shouted, fast, slow, etc.) and persists the indicator in memory. When the system receives output content from a speechlet or skill, the system checks whether the output content is in conformity with the speech quality indicator. If the content conforms to the speech quality indicator, the system may cause the content to be output to the user without further manipulation. But, if the content does not conform to the speech quality indicator, the system may manipulate the content to render it in conformity with the speech quality indicator and output the manipulated content to the user.

  • Patent number: 10575452
Abstract: A vertical tilling implement to be pulled behind and agricultural vehicle having a number of gangs of fluted-concave disc blades, rolling baskets, and wheels connected to a main frame. As the vertical tilling implement is pulled, the fluted-concave disc blades move the soil in a direction lateral to the side of the blades as well as up. Meanwhile, the rolling bars aid in leveling the seedbed and crushing the remaining large pieces of soil. The vertical tilling implement reduces the amount of subsoil compaction and cuts through heavy residue making it ideal for use in the fall or in the spring.

  • Patent number: 10516240
Abstract: An indoor coaxial wall outlet cover permitting functional use of a coaxial wall outlet while fully concealing the coaxial connector plug of the coaxial wall outlet. The cover has a hidden, functional coaxial connector plug that inserts into the coaxial connector plug attached to the underlying coaxial outlet box in the wall and is connected to an extended coaxial cable having at its distal end one or more functional coaxial connector plugs for use of the wall outlet to connect to a wide variety of home entertainment equipment such as televisions, DVRs, CATV, and satellite TV receivers. The cover can be essentially featureless in outward appearance, and when positioned over a wall coaxial outlet box, the cover can fully hide that box. The cover is thin so that furniture may be positioned effectively flush against the wall in front of the covered coaxial outlet box.

  • Publication number: 20190387257
Abstract: A method and system for generating highlights from scored data streams is disclosed. According to one embodiment, media content containing time-stamped payloads is received in a data stream from one or more sources. The received media content is recorded in a buffer for a predetermined period of time and sliced into data buckets. For each of the data buckets, a score is assigned according to user-provided keywords. The data buckets are recorded along with the assigned score to generate highlights from the one or more sources using the scores of the recorded data buckets.

  • Publication number: 20190361938
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure include a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for providing a dynamic content delivery search system. In example embodiments, entry of a first keyword of a search string comprising a plurality of keywords is detected. The first keyword is identified after entry of the first keyword and prior to entry of a second keyword of the search string. A first set of matching results that match the identified first keyword is determined. Entry of the second keyword is detected and the second keyword identified. Using the second keyword, the first set of matching results is refined. The resulting search results are presented to a user.
