  • Publication number: 20210264054
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for providing auditability of a distributed ledger technology (DLT) of de-identified data of entities, stored in the DLT. In certain embodiments, data related to an entity is de-identified. The de-identified data is stored in the DLT. Access to the de-identified data is determined. Instances of access to the de-identified data is recorded to the DLT. In certain embodiments, information used to re-identify the de-identified data is store on the DLT. Access to the information can also be determined and recorded to the DLT.

  • Publication number: 20210214754
Abstract: Compositions and methods for the production of L-glufosinate are provided. The method involves converting racemic glufosinate to the L-glufosinate enantiomer or converting PPO to L-glufosinate in an efficient manner. In particular, the method involves the specific amination of PPO to L-glufosinate, using L-glutamate, racemic glutamate, or another amine source as an amine donor. PPO can be obtained by the oxidative deamination of D-glufosinate to PRO (2-oxo-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphinoyl)butyric acid) or generated via chemical synthesis. PPO is then converted to L-glufosinate using a transaminase in the presence of an amine donor. When the amine donor donates an amine to PPO, L-glufosinate and a reaction by product are formed. Because the PPO remaining represents a yield loss of L-glufosinate, it is desirable to minimize the amount of PPO remaining in the reaction mixture.

  • Patent number: 11040305
Abstract: An apparatus that functions as an influent multiple passage reactor adaptable to simultaneously carry out a series of functions including effluent contaminant dissociation and molecular oxidation utilizing electrolytic and catalytic reactions is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a concentric outside that may be constructed of an electrically conductive material to serve as a first electrode. A smaller second concentric electrode mounted inside the outside housing may serve as a first cathode, with a third but smaller concentric electrode mounted inside the first cathode serving as a second anode, with yet a fourth but even smaller concentric electrode mounted inside the second anode serving as a second cathode and thereof (with additional anode/cathodes further included as desired). Between each electrode an influent passageway is formed with the series of electrodes and passageways stabilized by two slotted end caps which also serve to seal the apparatus housing.

  • Patent number: 11000836
Abstract: SCR-active molecular-sieve based catalysts with improved low-temperature performance are made by heating a molecular-sieve in a non-oxidizing atmosphere with steam (hydrothermal treatment), or in a reducing atmosphere without steam (thermal treatment), at a temperature in the range of 600-900° C. for a time period from 5 minutes to two hours. The resulting SCR-active iron-containing molecular sieves exhibit a selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with NH3 or urea at 250° C. that is at least 50% greater than if the iron-containing molecular-sieve were calcined at 500° C. for two hours without performing the hydrothermal or thermal treatment.

  • Publication number: 20210045875
Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying a heart valve annulus in a minimally invasive surgical procedure. A helical anchor is provided, having a memory set to a coiled shape or state. The helical anchor is further configured to self-revert from a substantially straight state to the coiled state. The helical anchor is loaded within a needle that constrains the helical anchor to the substantially straight state. The needle is delivered to the valve annulus and inserted into tissue of the annulus. The helical anchor is then deployed from the needle (e.g., the needle is retracted from over the helical anchor). Once deployed, the helical anchor self-transitions toward the coiled shape, cinching engaged tissue of the valve annulus.

  • Publication number: 20200385767
Abstract: Methods for the production of L-glufosinate (also known as phosphinothricin or (S)-2-amino-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphonoyl)butanoic acid) are provided. The methods comprise a two-step process. The first step involves the oxidative deamination of D-glufosinate to PPO (2-oxo-4-(hydroxy(methyl)phosphinoyl)butyric acid). • Patent number: 10778620
Abstract: Dynamic content can be delivered via email. Email messages include HTML content with one or more hyperlinks referring to a network-connected dynamic content server. The hyperlinks are accessed upon rendering of the email on a client device, triggering a request to a dynamic content server. The dynamic content server determines a content item to be served in response to the request. The dynamic content item determination may be based on factors including the identity of the requester, the email communication in which the hyperlink is embedded, recent activities or behavior on the part of the requester, and/or known preference or demographic information associated with the requester. The request can be directed to a selected content item stored within a content delivery network, for transmission back to the requester and display to the user within the email.
