  • Publication number: 20090070734
Abstract: Computer-based systems, methods and software products for monitoring software application quality comprise enabling a computer to generate a developer-identifying output identifying which software application developer (301) among a plurality of software application developers is responsible for a given software application modification in a corpus of software application code; analyzing the corpus of software application code to generate a software code quality output comprising values (303-305) for metrics of software code quality; and correlating the developer-identifying output and the software code quality output (306) to produce human-perceptible software application quality reports (309) on a per-developer basis, thereby to provide attribution of quality metric values on a per-developer basis.

  • Publication number: 20080216628
Abstract: A tool slices or cuts baked goods or soft solid or cheesy foods into sized segments. The tool has a cutting frame and a supporting base. The frame has an open geometric cross-section structure that has multiple slicing filaments extending across an area circumscribed by the frame. At least some of the multiple slicing filaments overlap to segment the item to be cut into distinct pieces. The supporting base has a series of depressions therein that correspond to a configuration of the slicing filaments. When the cutting frame is overlaid on the supporting base, at least a portion of the filaments resides in the depressions of the supporting frame and below a supporting surface of the supporting frame to assure that individual filaments can pass completely through the items to be cut.

  • Publication number: 20060195540
Abstract: Methods, devices, signals, and systems are provided in a message routing architecture which provides improved capabilities for integrating “digital” communication through email messages with “analog” communication through voice and/or fax or pager messages. Email can be addressed using nothing more than a standard telephone or fax number. If the registered owner of the telephone or fax number has a corresponding email address, then the invention converts the telephone or fax number to the email address for delivery and uses standard email delivery systems to deliver the message. If no conventional delivery email address is known, or if the message sender or recipient specify multiple delivery modes, then the email message content is transformed into voice, pager and/or fax content and delivered to the recipient using the telephone or fax number which was specified as the email address.

  • Patent number: 7033109
Abstract: The present invention relates to ground drainage apparatus comprising a ground anchor (13) and a length of conduit (10) providing a drainage channel for water. The length of conduit (10) is secured to the ground anchor (13) in such a way that when the ground anchor (13) is driven into the ground then the length of conduit (10) is dragged through a passage in the ground formed by the ground anchor (130 with the result that when the ground anchor is installed at a desired depth then the length of conduit (10) provides a drainage channel in the ground.

  • Publication number: 20050230077
Abstract: A process for forming a cast product or component, including one or more parts having a passage or cavity on at least one side such as a stator or rotor from aluminium or magnesium alloy, comprises supporting one or more preformed insert or inserts for example stainless steel in association with a mould part or parts which define(s) the passage or cavities during the casting process, surrounding the mould part(s) with one or more other mould parts which define the balance of the product or component shape, filling the mould with molten material, and allowing the product to cool and removing the mould parts to leave the cast product with the preformed inserts cast in situ as an integral part or parts of the cast product or component. Typically the process is a sand casting process. Typically the preformed insert(s) are formed of a stronger or more wear-resistant material than the material from which the balance of the product is cast, such as stainless steel.

  • Publication number: 20050024366
Abstract: A hybrid method or apparatus for processing OpenGL display list commands. A deamon intercepts display list commands issued by a client to an OpenGL stack. Responsive to a newList [list commands] endList sequence: the daemon stores a representation of a first subset of the list commands; and creates, in the stack, a display list corresponding to a second subset of the list commands. Responsive to a callList command: the daemon issues to the stack at least one immediate mode command corresponding to the first subset of the list commands and at least one callList command invoking the display list corresponding to the second subset of the list commands. The daemon may also store a representation of an expression or function. Responsive to the callList command, the daemon may evaluate the expression or function and conditionally change the step of invoking the display list based on the outcome.
