  • Publication number: 20030108435
Abstract: The invention relates to a piston airangement for a dual-stage piston compressor, comprising a crankshaft and several cylinders which house the operating pistons. Said arrangement allows two or more low-pressure stages and at least one high-pressure stage to be formed. The invention is characterised in that the two or more low-pressure cylinders are arranged in relation to the high-pressure stage in such a way that said two or more low-pressure cylinders are in phase or are offset by less than±15° and compress in a position which is offset by 180°±20, in relation to one or more high-pressure cylinders.

  • Patent number: 5622240
Abstract: A compressed-air actuated disk brake is disclosed comprising a caliper which reaches around a brake disk and on one side of which an application device is arranged which, when acted upon by compressed air, actuates at least one adjusting spindle adjustably arranged in a traverse, which adjusting spindle, by way of a pressure element disposed on its brake-disk-side end, acts upon the pressure plate of a brake lining which is disposed on the application side in the caliper to be displaceable with respect to the brake disk, an adjusting device, by acting upon the adjusting spindle(s), keeping the ventilating play, which changes because of the wear of the lining, essentially constant.
