The second port is in communication with the bore, the second valve, and an atmosphere exterior to the first vessel. The piston is movable along the longitudinal axis of the bore. A first position of the piston blocks the first port; a second position of the piston allows fluid communication between the first and second ports. The first valve is configured so that fluid pressure from the second valve, communicating through the second port, urges the piston to the second position.

The perpendicular frame member is coupled by the first end thereof to the parallel frame member along the length of the parallel frame member between the first end and the second end thereof. Each of the at least three primary extensions is adjustably disposed by the mount end thereof along the frame assembly.

At least one metadata field to be acquired is determined based on an association, within a stored knowledge structure, of the at least one metadata field with the first metadata. Second metadata to be associated with the content object is acquired based on the at least one metadata field. A metadata structure and markup format for the content object are determined. The metadata structure incorporates both the first metadata and the second metadata. The content object is output with the metadata structure and in the markup format.

Abstract: A device may be configured to enable a user to select a language, and may fulfill resource requests from applications by selecting, from among resources respectively associated with a language, a resource associated with the selected language of the user. However, this resource selection process may be inadequate if the user selects multiple languages; if a resource associated with the selected language of the user is unavailable, but resources associated with related languages are available; or if the user and/or the application specifies an ordering for the selection among the languages. Presented herein are techniques for performing the resource selection by, for respective languages selected by the user, calculating a weight representing a suitability of the language for the resource request; generating a selection order of the selected languages according to the weights; and selecting a resource based on the position of the associated language in the selection order.

Abstract: A system and a method of sorting scrap particles is provided. A moving conveyor containing scrap particles is imaged using a vision system to create a vision image corresponding to a timed location of the conveyor, and is sensed using a sensing system to create a sensing matrix corresponding to the timed location. The sensing system has at least one array of analog proximity sensors. A control system analyzes the vision image as a vision matrix of cells, and generates a vision vector containing vision data from the vision matrix for the particle. The control system analyzes the sensing matrix, and generates a sensing data vector containing sensing data from the sensing matrix for the particle. The control system classifies the particle into one of at least two classifications of a material as a function of the vision data vector and the sensing data vector.

The system has a sensor array with a series of analog inductive proximity sensors arranged transversely across the conveyor. An active sensing end face of each sensor lies in a sensing plane, and the sensing plane is generally parallel with the surface of the conveyor. A control system of is configured to sample and quantize analog signals from the series of sensors in the array, and locate and classify a scrap particle on the conveyor passing over the array into one of at least two categories of material based on the quantized signals. A method for sorting the particles is also provided.
