  • Publication number: 20110073454
Abstract: A key assembly for use in an electronic device is provided. The key assembly includes a plurality of dome switches and a plurality of single-piece keycaps. Each keycap identifies a row of keyboard characters. Each keycap has a plurality of character-representing portions separated by deforming portions. Each character-representing portion is associated with a separate one of the plurality of dome switches. The key assembly further comprises a plurality of actuators for activating the dome switches. Each actuator has a first side which is engaged by one of the character representing portions of the keycap. Each actuator has a second side which engages the dome switch associated with that character-representing portion. In a rest state in which the keycap is not depressed, at least some of the actuators preload at least some of the dome switches by exerting a force upon the dome switches.

  • Publication number: 20100116040
Abstract: A test bench conditioning system for a working fluid of a machine located on the test bench includes at least one pump (3) for circulating the working fluid, a heat exchanger (4) for cooling the working fluid coming from the discharge line (1) of the machine and a heating device (5) for the working fluid fed into the supply line (2) to the machine and a mixing valve (6). Furthermore, a bypass (8) that can be shut off between the discharge line (1) and the supply line (2) can be provided. Setting a temperature profile for the working fluid is possible via a control device. In order to render possible an optimum simulation of a real temperature profile of an operating fluid of a machine with the slightest deviations for the predetermined profile, a connecting line (10) with a control valve (11) leads to the discharge line (1) in front of the mixing valve (6), which opens into this discharge line (1) in front of the pump (3).

  • Publication number: 20070062600
Abstract: A stand for dispensing purified water into a supply bottle has both a dispensing nozzle on the stand with a customer actuated switch supply of the water through the spout and a sanitizing system in the stand for pre-sanitizing the bottle prior to filling at the point. The sanitizing system includes a nozzle for injecting liquid into the bottle projecting through a drain opening with at least one customer actuated switch for supply of liquid to said at least one nozzle. The nozzle is located underneath the base surface of the filling station such that the bottle is inverted and its neck inserted through a hole into the base onto a switch at the drain to ensure the bottle is in place before the injection nozzle is operated.

  • Publication number: 20020023052
Abstract: A method for transacting exchanges of agricultural products provides an agricultural producer with a guaranteed level of revenue. With guaranteed revenue, the producer greatly reduces the risks associated with the agriculture business, and obtains both yield and price protection. In exchange for the guaranteed level of revenue, the producer agrees to several conditions designed to provide value to the guarantor and reduce the guarantor's risk. In this manner, the guarantor and producer both benefit from practice of the method. The producer may agree to deliver all or a portion of its output, for example, to an outlet specified by the guarantor. In addition, the producer may agree to purchase all or a portion of its agricultural inputs, e.g., seeds, fertilizer, and agricultural chemicals, from a source specified by the guarantor. The producer also may agree to a number of producing conditions designed to maximize yield and marketability, such as the use of particular hybrids and pesticides.
