  • Publication number: 20240404966
Abstract: Distributions of on-chip inductors for monolithic voltage regulation are described. On-chip voltage regulation may be provided by integrated voltage regulators (IVRs), such as a buck converter with integrated inductors. On-chip inductors may be placed to ensure optimal voltage regulation for high power density applications. With this technology, integrated circuits may have many independent voltage domains for fine-grained dynamic voltage and frequency scaling that allows for higher overall power efficiency for the system.

  • Publication number: 20240385955
Abstract: A computer memory apparatus is provided having a plurality of storage locations and a plurality of address decoder elements, each having a one or more input address connections for mapping to a respective one or more data elements of an input data entity. Decoding by a given one of the plurality of address decoder elements serves to conditionally activate the address decoder element depending on a function of values of the one or more data elements of the input data entity mapped to the one or more input address connection(s) and further depending on an activation threshold. Memory access operations to one of the plurality of storage locations are controlled by two or more distinct ones of the plurality of address decoder elements depending on coincidences in activation of the two or more distinct address decoder elements as a result of the decoding. A method and machine-readable instructions are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20240267671
Abstract: Improvements in a bollard speaker with in-ground subwoofer where the bollard contains a first speaker for higher frequencies and the subwoofer that provides lower frequencies that emit from below ground up through the bollard through a grill in the middle or upper portion of the bollard. The in-ground subwoofer provides a structural foundation for the bollard. Placing the subwoofer in an underground housing allows for larger speaker sizes for improved lower frequency response without trying to produce low frequency sounds in a constrained vertical bollard housing pole. The same base subwoofer is used with interchangeable bollards that accommodate both a cylindrical and a square or rectangular above ground bollard. The speaker within the bollard is configurable for omni-directional or directional sound transmission.

  • Publication number: 20240173474
Abstract: An infusion pump for pumping fluid through an administrative set at a desired flow rate over a specified duration, and includes a pumping mechanism for releasably receiving and for exerting a pulsing force on the administrative set, thus pressurizing a portion of the set for creating a flow of fluid from a set outlet. A controller is connected to and is configured for operating the pumping mechanism, the controller determines a pulse frequency based on a volume of fluid infused over a portion of the specified duration and the desired flow rate, outputs a control signal to the pumping mechanism for operating the pumping mechanism based on the determined pulse frequency, determines a first pulse frequency based on the desired flow rate; and adjusts the first pulse frequency based on the volume of fluid infused to provide a second pulse frequency being different from the first pulse frequency.
