  • Publication number: 20190237998
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a current recovery cell, unit, and system that enhances signal admittance and captures bipolar and uni-polar electro-magnetic and electro-static energy flux generated by input AC currents, bandwidth adjusts, and converts this captured energy flux to uni-polar currents, thereby recovering input AC currents for system power reduction.

  • Publication number: 20180228967
Abstract: An infusion pump is provided for pumping fluid through an administrative set at a desired flow rate over a specified duration, and includes a pumping mechanism for releasably receiving and for exerting a pulsing force on the administrative set, thus pressurizing a portion of the set for creating a flow of fluid from a set outlet. A controller is connected to and is configured for operating the pumping mechanism, the controller determines a pulse frequency based on a volume of fluid infused over a portion of the specified duration and the desired flow rate, outputs a control signal to the pumping mechanism for operating the pumping mechanism based on the determined pulse frequency, determines a first pulse frequency based on the desired flow rate; and adjusts the first pulse frequency based on the volume of fluid infused to provide a second pulse frequency being different from the first pulse frequency.

  • Patent number: 9449063
Abstract: A database tier maintains and provides access to a database. An application tier receives and responds to requests for a form. The form includes data defining a first UI control for displaying a first value from the database and a second UI control for displaying a second value from the database that is dependent upon the first value. A client tier renders the form to show the first value in the first UI control and to show the second value in the second UI control. The client tier also detects a modification to the first value and causes an updated second value to be generated in response to detecting the modification to the first value. The updated second value is displayed by way of the second UI control. The updated second value is generated at the client tier, the application tier, the database tier, or at a combined application/database tier.

  • Publication number: 20150276833
Abstract: Samples representing signals and noise from a plasma system across a frequency range are collected. A first complex frequency-domain signal component is identified from a sample corresponding to a frequency value F at which a local maximum signal is found. This first component is phase-adjusted by a variable angle ? to a predetermined phase angle ?, and stored. A further complex component is identified corresponding to a frequency F(N) representing an Nth order harmonic of F. This further component is phase-adjusted by an angle NĂ—?, and stored. The procedure is repeated to build up sets of phase-adjusted first and further components, with ? chosen in each iteration for the first component to give a constant phase angle ?, and within any iteration the value of ? used for the first component is employed in the adjustment of the further component. The aggregated, phase-adjusted components exhibit increased signal-to-noise.

  • Patent number: 8959110
Abstract: An application module generates a query that may involve retrieving data from a local data storage source or from an external data storage source. The application module retrieves metadata to form a query tree stored in the local data storage source and uses the query tree to ascertain one or more sub-queries necessary to complete the query and whether the necessary data for each sub-query is stored locally or externally. Based on the location of the data to complete a sub-query, the application module uses the services of an internal query processing layer if external data is involved for the sub-query. The application module uses the services of a query processing layer in the local data storage source if the data is local. Once all the sub-queries associated with the query tree are performed, then the overall query results are returned to the application module.

  • Patent number: 8892601
Abstract: Creating web application using cloud-based friction-free databases without web hosting knowledge. User credentials are received at a web application service for initiating a web application task via client software. The user credentials are analyzed to determine whether to grant the user permission to initiate the requested web application task. The web application task is initiated when the permission is granted. Data associated with the initiated web application task is received at the web application service for analysis of the data to host and render a web application based solely on received data provided without basis of web hosting knowledge.

  • Patent number: 8754557
Abstract: A bowling machine motor/gearbox conversion and adaptor kit may allow people to reuse their current gearboxes by adapting the components to utilize a new motor that would make the gearbox universal instead of having different motor/gearbox combinations. The adaptor kit may adapt the gearbox portion of the motor/gearbox assembly to allow the gearbox to accept a current, new motor. A person may use the adaptor kit to repair and replace components of a bowling machine's motor and gearbox assembly.
