  • Patent number: 12203561
Abstract: A system for exercising a valve may comprise a valve exercising apparatus having inoperative and operative conditions, a transitional event when the apparatus transitions from the inoperative to the operative condition. The exercising apparatus may comprise a valve exercising motor for connecting to the valve and a controller assembly for controlling operation of the motor. The controller assembly may operate in a manual control mode and an automated control mode, with the manual control mode being characterized by operation of elements of the exercising apparatus being initiated by manual input from the operator, and the automated control mode being characterized by operation of elements of the exercising apparatus being initiated by the controller assembly. The controller assembly may be configured to operate the apparatus in a startup condition at the occurrence of the transitional event, and the startup condition may correspond to the manual control mode.

  • Publication number: 20220309563
Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods associated with generating conversations of electronic data exchanges. In particular, in one embodiment, a conversation generator determines whether records are related based on EDI data associated with a transaction, integrates the records based on associations within the EDI data, and generates a conversation that depicts the integrated EDI data associated with the transaction in a conversational format for viewing by a user. In other embodiments, an alert engine determines that there are errors in the conversation, such as missing or inconsistent data, and alerts a user accordingly.

  • Patent number: 11391385
Abstract: A valve operating apparatus with controls may include a speed control engageable by a hand of an operator of the apparatus to control a speed characteristic for operating the valve. The speed control may have a zero position corresponding to a zero speed of rotation of a shaft for connecting to the valve, with the speed control being movable out of the zero position to a nonzero position corresponding to a nonzero speed of rotation. A degree of movement of the speed control from the zero position may correspond to a speed of rotation of the shaft such that further movement of the control away from the zero position increases the speed of rotation. Movement of the speed control from the zero position may be characterized by the speed control maintaining the position of the speed control when engagement of the control by the hand of the operator is discontinued.

  • Publication number: 20170186055
Abstract: Screening feedback and/or generating aggregate feedback for an entity. In an embodiment, feedback is received from users. For each feedback, it is determined whether the feedback is negative or positive. When the feedback is negative, a first user interface is provided, comprising input(s) for receiving information about the negative feedback, without publishing the negative feedback. When the feedback is positive, a second user interface is provided, comprising input(s) to facilitate publication of the positive feedback on a plurality of external websites. In addition, aggregate feedback may be generated for an entity group that comprises at least first and second entities, based, at least in part, on published feedback for the first and second entities.
