  • Patent number: 11960547
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, system and computer program product for single view presentation of multiple query. In an embodiment of the disclosure, a method for single view presentation of multiple query includes directing a query against a database along a selected dimension of multiple different elements. In response, a primary result set is received. The result set is then organized into a tabular view of cells according to the selected dimension and values for the selected dimension. Thereafter, a set of nested queries may be directed for each of the elements in the selected dimension against the result set utilizing a different dimension. In response to each directed set of nested queries, a corresponding result set is thus received. Finally, each corresponding result set is inserted into a cell associated with a common one of the elements.

  • Publication number: 20240084131
Abstract: Porous and microporous parts prepared by additive manufacturing as disclosed herein are useful in medical and non-medical applications. The parts are prepared from a composition containing both a solvent soluble component and a solvent insoluble component. After a part is printed by an additive manufacturing process it is exposed to solvent to extract solvent soluble component away front the printed part, resulting in a part having surface cavities.

  • Patent number: 10177801
Abstract: A flip device case for an electronic device is described herein. The flip device case includes a recess and a border. The recess is to receive the electronic device via an opening in the recess. The border is to be coupled with the recess and includes a plurality of flexible points. Manipulation of the border at one or more of the flexible points is to configure the flip device case in a position.

  • Patent number: 9911059
Abstract: A process for recovering a vehicle includes obtaining a red green blue (RGB) image comprising a target on a recovery device. An input received from a user designates a target hue value and a target luminance value. The RGB image is converted to a hue value saturation (HSV) color model. The HSV color model is split into a hue value plane and a luminance value plane. A hue band pass filter and a luminance band pass filter are configured with appropriate thresholds. The configured hue band pass filter and the luminance band pass filter are applied to the hue value plane and the luminance value plane, respectively. The filtered hue value plane and the filtered luminance value planes are combined to yield a plurality of potential target pixel groupings. The most probable target is determined from the plurality of potential target pixels. The vehicle is directed to the target.

  • Publication number: 20070020372
Abstract: A concentrated milk derived from a dairy liquid is provided which comprises a liquid aqueous dairy product having reduced calcium levels and macromolecular milk components at about a 3.5 times or greater concentration as compared to the dairy liquid from which the concentrated milk is derived, wherein substantially all macromolecular milk components in the concentrated milk are in an uncurded state, and wherein the concentrated milk does not gel on extended refrigerated storage. The calcium-reduced 3.5× or more concentrated milk is physically stable (i.e., non-gelling) during prolonged refrigeration storage and has increased protein functionality is provided.

  • Patent number: 6562383
Abstract: A process for producing a flavored cheese that does not require curing or aging is provided. Using three specific flavor components (i.e., a “sulfury-cheddar” flavored component, a “creamy-buttery” flavored component, and a “cheesy” flavored component), a wide variety of flavored cheeses having desired flavor profiles and of various types can be prepared using a simple process that does not require a curing or aging step. Depending on the type of cheese desired, a mixture of at least one, and preferably at least two, of the flavor components is prepared. A non-coagulating amount of a cheese coagulate is added and sufficient water is removed, preferably by evaporation, to obtain the desired solids level, thereby forming the desired flavored cheese.

  • Patent number: 6183804
Abstract: A two stage, on-demand, commercially-viable method for producing process cheese or process cheese-type products by the direct conversion of milk is provided. This method does not require fermentation, enzymatic treatment, and/or intermediate steps of forming and separating curds and whey. In the first stage, a powdered milk protein concentrate is form by ultrafiltering liquid milk, preferably skim milk, and then spray drying the concentrated ultrafiltered milk. The powdered milk protein concentrate, which is storage-stable, may be converted to process cheese or process cheese-type product immediately or may be stored for later conversion. The powdered milk protein concentrate can be used to produce fat-free, reduced-or low-fat, and/or full-fat cheeses having similar organoleptic properties to cheeses prepared from conventional curds and whey processes. The present two stage process is especially adapted for semi-continuous or continuous manufacture of process cheese-type products.

  • Patent number: 5675762
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for providing exchange of data between a peripheral device having a paging mechanism and an application operating in a virtual machine which includes a page directory for exclusive use by the paging mechanism of the peripheral device. The virtual machine is running on a data processing system and preferably contains a block of memory which is divided into various sections of memory. The page directory is provided to the paging mechanism of the peripheral device when the application requires the use of the peripheral device. A section of memory is selectively locked down in response to the section of memory being utilized by the application. Additionally, the page directory is updated with an entry which identifies the section of memory that is locked down. Memory may also be locked down in order to permit the peripheral device to access that section of memory.
