  • Patent number: 10957733
Abstract: A method of assembling a photodetector assembly includes depositing bumps on a read out integrated circuit (ROIC) without depositing bumps on a photodiode array (PDA). The method includes assembling the PDA and ROIC together wherein each bump electrically interconnects the ROIC with a respective contact of the PDA. A photodetector assembly includes a PDA. A ROIC is assembled to the PDA, wherein the ROIC is electrically interconnected with the PDA through a plurality of electrically conductive bumps. Each bump is confined within a respective pocket between the ROIC and a respective contact of the PDA. The disclosed methods can enable focal plane array manufacturers to achieve low-cost production of ultra-fine pitch, large format imaging arrays.

  • Patent number: 10919929
Abstract: The present invention encompasses the recognition that reproducible and detectable changes in the level and or activity of Glucocorticoid Receptor (GR) are associated with incidence and/or risk of Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer (CRPC) and/or doubly resistant prostate cancer, specifically in individuals having prostate cancer and on antiandrogen therapy, and provides for the use of GR inhibitors to treat and/or reduce risk of CRPC and/or doubly resistant prostate cancer. In some embodiments, GR inhibitors also have Androgen Receptor (AR) inhibitory activity or are administered in conjunction with AR inhibitors. The present invention also provides technologies for identification and/or characterization of agents to treat and/or reduce risk of CRPC and/or doubly resistant prostate cancer; in some embodiments such agents alter level and/or activity of a GR. In some embodiments, provided agents show effects on a GR's activity of regulating transcription of one or more target genes.

  • Publication number: 20200143717
Abstract: A portable, self-illuminating traffic sign having a sign head with two opposite sides. One side indicates a first traffic signal, and the other side indicates a second traffic signal. Light assemblies are attached to each side of the sign head. The light assemblies emit light that may match the predominant color of one of the sides of the sign head. A battery may be disposed in a pole that connects to the sign head. A handlegrip allows for the sign to be held and provides a switch to allow for the lights to be selectively turned on and off.

  • Publication number: 20200052012
Abstract: A method of forming an array of photodiodes includes forming a cap layer on a surface of an absorption layer. The method includes forming a plurality of spaced apart pixel diffusion areas in the cap layer. The method includes forming a mesa trench with opposed sidewalls through the cap layer, wherein the mesa trench surrounds each of the pixel diffusion areas separating the pixel diffusion areas from one another. The method includes forming a sidewall passivation layer over the sidewalls of the mesa trench and removing a portion of the sidewall passivation layer to expose a respective contact electrically connected to each of the pixel diffusion areas, but leaving the sidewalls of the mesa trench covered with the sidewall passivation layer wherein the contact is open and uncovered for electrical connection.

  • Patent number: 9019549
Abstract: Job tickets with banner descriptions and document descriptions are automatically generated by a print shop's DMS. The banner descriptions and the document descriptions are composed of PDL instructions. Document descriptions can be managed and altered without necessarily affecting the job ticket. The banner page PDL instructions are specially designated so that banner pages cannot be managed without also managing the job ticket. Preserving the banner page within a job ticket prevents unwanted side effects from disturbing the print shop's work flow.

  • Patent number: 8632059
Abstract: A fragrance disperser in one form includes a single fan that passes air over a wicked single or double fragrance. A second form has the fan reversible to provide two different airstreams that evaporate respective different fragrances one after the other. Where two fragrances are provided, the evaporation may be by respective electrical heaters. A fragrance source may be formed by two sheets joined together to form two chambers each receiving a respective wick and having respective exposed wick portions. The source may incorporate a source of electrical power. An alternative source has a reservoir for fragrance and a wick located in an air passage forming part of the source so that an air flow is guided through the passage past the wick to evaporate fragrance. Where two fragrances are provided, the fragrance sources may be located side-by-side and matching fragrances may have, for example, matching indicia on the sources so that the match can be easily determined visually.
