  • Patent number: 11324469
Abstract: An embodiment in accordance with the present invention includes a novel informatics method for the integration of different variables or ontologies using an advanced unsupervised machine learning method which will be used to visualize factors not visible to the human observer. These factors can be unknown characteristics between imaging datasets and other factors which will provide insights into the structure of the data. This invention is called the Informatics Radiomics Integration System (IRIS), For example, using clinical data and radiological images, the present invention can determine the relationship between, the structure, clinical variables, histological variables and “distance or relationship” between each input parameter. This integration of information can be used to determine the association between the variables and the relationship to each other for improved diagnosis or for treatment response.

  • Patent number: 11321372
Abstract: System and methods for obtaining frequent terms in a set of data is provided. The method comprises obtaining the set of data comprising a stream of terms; analyzing the stream of terms using a modified data streaming generator to find a set of frequent terms; forming a dictionary of terms based on the set of most frequent terms; identifying one or more of the set of frequent terms in the set of data; and analyzing the one or more of the set of frequent terms in the set of data to determine a context and/or structure based on neighboring terms in the set of data; providing a visualization tool for the interactions with the frequent terms and the application at hand.

  • Patent number: 11207071
Abstract: An apparatus includes a handle assembly having a body, a shaft assembly having an outer tube member, an end effector, an anvil, a first trocar closure system, and a second trocar closure system. The end effector has having a staple deck fixed relative to the body, a staple driver operable to actuate relative to the staple deck between an unfired position and a fired position, and the trocar configured to selectively couple with the anvil and actuate relative to the staple dreck. The first trocar closure assembly can actuate in a first motion to drive the trocar between a distal position and a first closed position. The second trocar closure assembly can actuate in a second motion between the first closed position and a second closed position. The staple drive is inoperable at least until the first trocar closure assembly actuates the trocar to the first closed position.

  • Publication number: 20210334302
Abstract: A frame represents a concept with a set of roles and a set of linguistic rules. If a linguistic rule is satisfied, by a unit of natural language discourse (UNLD), the frame is invoked and a frame instance produced. A frame instance specifies how the UNLD, with particular values drawn from the UNLD, fulfills the roles of the frame. A frame-based search, of target content, is accomplished in response to a frame-based user query. The search result is comprised of records, where each record is a result of a match, of the frame-based query, at a location in the target content. If the frame-based query is implicit, a match requires only that the location of the target content invokes the appropriate frame. If the frame-based query is role-specific, in addition to invoking the appropriate frame, a query search term needs to be found in the value for a role of the frame instance produced.

  • Patent number: 11134952
Abstract: An apparatus includes a body assembly with a handle and a shaft portion, an end effector with a staple deck fixed to the shaft portion, an anvil, and a firing assembly. The end effector further includes a trocar and a staple driver both configured to actuate relative to the staple deck. The staple driver can actuate a distance between an unfired position and a fired position. The trocar can couple with the anvil to define a gap distance. The firing assembly includes a trigger pivotably coupled with the body assembly via a first pivot, a driver actuator configured to actuate the staple driver, and a linkage assembly pivotably coupled with the trigger via a second pivot and the driver actuator. Where the second pivot is proximal relative to the first pivot. The linkage assembly can drive the driver actuator is response to the trigger pivoting about the first pivot.
