  • Patent number: 10212556
Abstract: A system and method of providing information about a transport service to user devices are described. The system arranges a transport service for a first user and a second user. The system determines first data corresponding to a first route from a location of a driver device of the driver to a first pickup location of the first user and second data corresponding to a second route from the first pickup location to a second pickup location of the second user. A combined route is determined based on the first data and the second data. The system transmits data associated with the first data without transmitting the data corresponding to the combined route to a first user device of the first user, and transmits data corresponding to the combined route to a second user device of the second user.

  • Publication number: 20190000443
Abstract: A trocar assembly includes a cannula assembly, an obturator assembly, and a catch arm. The cannula assembly has a housing, a cannula, and a working channel defining a longitudinal axis from a proximal opening to a distal opening. The obturator assembly includes a proximal head, a distal tip, and a shaft extending therebetween. The catch arm is selectively moveable from a retracted position to a first and second deployed positions and is configured to releasably capture a suture thread. In the retracted position, the catch arm is positioned radially inward from the first deployed position. In the first deployed position, the catch arm is positioned radially outward from the retracted position. In addition, the catch arm is configured to be moved a predetermined distance from the first deployed position to the second deployed position and release the captured suture thread therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20190000496
Abstract: A method of suturing a trocar path incision in a tissue of a patient with an obturator includes inserting the obturator through the tissue such that a shaft of the obturator extends through a tissue opening about the trocar path incision and a distal tip of the obturator is positioned within a cavity of the patient. The method also includes directing the suture via a suturing feature with the obturator inserted through the tissue in order to direct the suture relative to the tissue. Furthermore, the method includes closing the tissue opening about the trocar path incision with the suture.

  • Publication number: 20180332771
Abstract: In one aspect, a method for creating merged triple windrows within a field may include performing a first cutting pass across a first triple windrow set of the field in a first harvesting direction so as to sever materials from the ground and deposit the severed materials within a first cut strip to form a first deposit of severed materials. The method may also include performing a second cutting pass across a second triple windrow set of the field subsequent to the first cutting pass in a second harvesting direction opposite the first harvesting direction so as to sever materials from the ground and deposit the severed materials within a second cut strip to form a first separate deposit of severed materials. Moreover, the method may include performing subsequent cutting passes across the first triple windrow set to create a merged triple windrow within the first cut strip.

  • Patent number: 10058256
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present inventive concept provide a system that uses two wavelengths of differential transmittance through a sample to apply laser speckle or laser Doppler imaging. A first of the two wavelengths is within the visible range that has zero or very shallow penetration. This wavelength captures the anatomical structure of tissue/organ surface and serves as a position marker of the sample but not the subsurface movement of blood flow and perfusion. A second wavelength is in the near Infra-Red (NIR) range, which has much deeper penetration. This wavelength reveals the underlying blood flow physiology and correlates both to the motion of the sample and also the movement of blood flow and perfusion. Thus, true motion of blood flow and perfusion can be derived from the NIR imaging measurement without being affected by the motion artifact of the target.

  • Patent number: 9934285
Abstract: Pinnacle concepts are not amenable to detection by the use of keywords. A unit of natural language discourse (UNLD) “refers” to a pinnacle concept “C” when that UNLD uses linguistic expressions in such a way that “C” is regarded as expressed, used or invoked by an ordinary reader of “L.” A reference can have a “reference level” value that is proportional to: the “strength” with which the pinnacle concept is referenced, the probability that a pinnacle concept is referenced or both strength and probability. Pinnacle concepts can be divided into Quantifiers and non-Quantifiers. A Quantifier can modify the reference level assigned to a non-Quantifier. A concept “C,” that is determined to be referenced by a UNLD “x,” after application of its Quantifiers, is said to be asserted by “x.” Concept-based classification is the identification of whether a pinnacle concept “C” is asserted by a UNLD. Concept-based classification can be used for concept-based search.
