  • Patent number: 10369518
Abstract: Calcium hydroxide-containing compositions can be manufactured by slaking quicklime, and subsequently drying and milling the slaked product. The resulting calcium hydroxide-containing composition can have a size, steepness, pore volume, and/or other features that render the compositions suitable for treatment of exhaust gases and/or removal of contaminants. In some embodiments, the calcium hydroxide-containing compositions can include a D10 from about 0.5 microns to about 4 microns, a D90 less than about 30 microns, and a ratio of D90 to D10 from about 8 to about 20, wherein individual particles include a surface area greater than or equal to about 25 m2/g.

  • Patent number: 10371378
Abstract: A method of monitoring blockage of a sight tube attached to a wall of a process chamber, the sight tube being operatively associated with a TDLAS optical head with a window between the sight tube and the TDLAS optical head. The method includes the steps of providing a photo sensor in the TDLAS optical head, the photo sensor being positioned to receive light emitted by a light emitting process within the process chamber. An emission signal produced by light emitted by the light emitting process within the process chamber being received by the photo sensor is monitored. A determination is made if the emission signal is degrading.

  • Patent number: 10374341
Abstract: A card edge connector includes a housing and a contact assembly. The housing has a cavity, a card slot and a chamber adjacent the card slot. The card slot receives a card edge of a module circuit board of a pluggable module. The contact assembly has a contact holder, first contacts held by the contact holder, and a contact positioner. The contact positioner is forward of the contact holder and located in the chamber for receiving mating ends of the first contacts. The contact positioner is movable in the chamber relative to the contact holder and the housing between an inward position and an outward position. The contact positioner moves the mating ends of the first contacts outward from the card slot as the contact positioner is moved from the inward position to the outward position.

  • Patent number: 10373216
Abstract: Systems and methods which provide parasitic postage indicia comprising thin indicium information and corresponding postage indicium data are shown. The thin indicium information may be disposed in a mail scan block in parasitism for use in identifying the corresponding postage indicium data. This thin indicium information may comprise one or more pieces of information configured to be carried within a structure of a mail scan block present on a mail item and which uniquely or substantially uniquely identifies a postage indicium data packet comprised of postage indicium data. The postage indicium data may be generated as proof of payment for postal services and stored for access using the thin indicium information. As a mail item is processed a mail scan block thereon may be scanned and the thin indicium information extracted for identifying a corresponding postage indicium data packet for proof of payment for postal services.

  • Patent number: 10366534
Abstract: A 3D voxel grid of an environment is generated, with a signed value assigned to each voxel representative of that voxel's distance from a nearest surface. For each subset of the 3D voxel grid comprising a surface, an initial surface mesh is generated. As new depth information is received, an updated surface is generated only for those subsets of the 3D voxel grid that exhibit greater than threshold change in signed values over time.

  • Patent number: 10366692
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques and systems for encoding instructions in audio data that, when output on a speaker of a first device in an environment, cause a second device to output content in the environment. In some instances, the audio data has a frequency that is inaudible to users in the environment. Thus, the first device is able to cause the second device to output the content without users in the environment hearing the instructions. In some instances, the first device also outputs content, and the content output by the second device is played at an offset relative to a position of the content output by the first device.

  • Patent number: 10364860
Abstract: Systems and methods for dampening dynamic loading between two bodies are described. An example dampening system includes a non-ferrous metal body attached to a second body and a stack of magnets attached to a third body. The stack of magnets is movably disposed within or around the non-ferrous metal body, and adjacent magnets are arranged in an opposed polar relationship, whereby relative movement of said second and third bodies is damped. An example method of dampening dynamic loading includes arranging a plurality of magnets along an axis to form at least one pair of magnets having an opposed polar relationship along the axis. The method further includes axially moving the at least one pair of magnets relative to a non-ferrous metal body, so as to dampen dynamic loading of a payload attached to a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10368062
Abstract: A camera system captures images from a set of cameras to generate binocular panoramic views of an environment. The cameras are oriented in the camera system to maximize the minimum number of cameras viewing a set of randomized test points. To calibrate the system, matching features between images are identified and used to estimate three-dimensional points external to the camera system. Calibration parameters are modified to improve the three-dimensional point estimates. When images are captured, a pipeline generates a depth map for each camera using reprojected views from adjacent cameras and an image pyramid that includes individual pixel depth refinement and filtering between levels of the pyramid. The images may be used generate views of the environment from different perspectives (relative to the image capture location) by generating depth surfaces corresponding to the depth maps and blending the depth surfaces.

  • Patent number: 10359143
Abstract: A pipe liner has an elongate duct of thin laminated thermoplastic layers and remains relatively flexible and folded to a flat form. In this form, opposing sides of the duct are pressed into close proximity aided by folding of the duct, so the liner can be stored efficiently. In use, the liner is inserted into a pipe. The liner is subsequently heated and pressed against the inner surface of the pipe to form a close fit. Once the liner cools, it sets in place providing a close fitting pipe lining. In order to ensure adequate and even heating of the pipe liner during installation, heating is provided within the liner. The heating may comprise: a plurality of conductive filaments; electromagnetic susceptor material; or a plurality of magnetic particles.
