  • Patent number: 11961987
Abstract: Described herein are battery modules and methods of fabricating thereof. In some examples, a battery module comprises an enclosure, separated into two enclosure portions and a thermal portion, positioned between the two enclosure portions. Two enclosure portions are in part defined by side walls, which can be tapered. The thermal portion comprises two thermal walls, which are operable as the bottoms of the two enclosure portions and form a thermal cavity between these thermal walls. In some examples, the enclosure is a monolithically cast component. Alternatively, the enclosure can be partially cast with one thermal wall welded thereafter to a cast subassembly. The battery module also comprises two sets of batteries, each positioned into a corresponding enclosure portion. Each battery set is interconnected with an interconnecting assembly, positioned between the battery set and the corresponding cover, for this enclosure portion.

  • Publication number: 20240117729
Abstract: Systems and methods to determine angular offset between reference points on a drill string are achieved automatically using an electronic device, such as a handheld device. A first orientation value corresponding to the first highside reference point is obtained using the electronic device. A second a second orientation value corresponding the second highside reference point is obtained. The electronic device then calculates the angular offset between the first and second orientation values.

  • Publication number: 20240115337
Abstract: A method initiates and/or prepares and/or conducts teleoperation by a robotic system for medical or surgical teleoperation. The robotic system includes a master device, which is hand-held, mechanically unconstrained and moveable by an operator, and a slave device including a surgical instrument controlled by the master device. The master device is functionally symmetrical with respect to a predeterminable single, longitudinal axis of the master device. A local reference frame of the master device and the related longitudinal axis is detected, with respect to a main reference frame of the master device workspace; then, functionally equivalent local reference frames are detected. A corresponding target reference frame is mapped in a workspace of the slave device. An operating reference frame is detected according to criteria for optimization of the trajectory of the slave device. A robotic system for medical or surgical teleoperation is control led by the control method.

  • Publication number: 20240115336
Abstract: A method initiates and/or prepares a teleoperation by a robotic system for medical or surgical teleoperation. A hand-held master device is mechanically unconstrained and moved by an operator. A slave device includes a microsurgical instrument controlled by the master device. The robotic system includes a man-machine interface allowing the operator to communicate the intention to teleoperate to the robot. The method includes initiating teleoperation preparation; then performing alignment between master device and slave device, in which the slave device moves to align orientation of the surgical instrument to the master device. Teleoperation is entered after the alignment master and slave devices has been completed. First checks are conducted for entering the alignment, and enabling start of the alignment only if all first checks are passed. Before entering the teleoperation, second checks are conducted for enabling alignment, and enabling entry into teleoperation only if all second checks are passed.

  • Patent number: 11954655
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for generating alerts in association with a request to open an account for an individual. For example, information identifying an individual may be received from a financial entity in association with the financial entity receiving a request to open an account for the individual from a requesting entity. The requesting entity may be a vendor or service provider associated with the financial entity. An electronic notification may then be sent to the individual, which may include a selectable option to indicate that the individual does not authorize opening of the account. In response to receiving an indication that the individual does not authorize opening of the account, notifications may be sent to both the financial entity and the requesting entity indicating that the individual has not authorized opening of the account.

  • Patent number: 11956223
Abstract: The techniques herein are directed generally to a “zero-knowledge” data management network. Users are able to share verifiable proof of data and/or identity information, and businesses are able to request, consume, and act on the data—all without a data storage server or those businesses ever seeing or having access to the raw sensitive information (where server-stored data is viewable only by the intended recipients, which may even be selected after storage). In one embodiment, source data is encrypted with a source encryption key (e.g., source public key), with a rekeying key being an encrypting combination of a source decryption key (e.g., source private key) and a recipient's public key. Without being able to decrypt the data, the storage server can use the rekeying key to re-encrypt the source data with the recipient's public key, to then be decrypted only by the corresponding recipient using its private key, accordingly.

  • Publication number: 20240111452
Abstract: An apparatus and method for efficiently managing performance among multiple integrated circuits in separate semiconductor chips. In various implementations, a computing system includes at least a first processing node and a second processing node. While processing tasks, the first processing node uses a first memory and the second processing node uses a second memory. A first communication channel transfers data between the first processing node and the second processing node. The first processing node accesses the second memory using a second communication channel different from the first communication channel and supports point-to-point communication. The second memory services access requests from the first and second processing nodes as the access requests are received while foregoing access conflict detection.
